The average PS3 owner just doesn't buy as many games as Xbox 360 owners for some reason. Maybe it's because a more varied group of people own PS3's compared to Xbox 360, since the vast majority of Xbox 360 owners are Americans and have relatively similar tastes in gaming as one and another.

The time that you will save by installing it will add up though so I think it definitely seems like a good idea to install it.
It costs 10 less bucks for the game, but 1000 more dollars for the appropriate hardware to play it at the same level of performance as the 360/PS3.
