It'll be interesting to know what Rebecka Coutaz thought of the Battlefield 2: Special Forces DLC, maybe what her favourite character from the Bad Company series is, or for instance, which was her favourite map from Battlefield 3.
She was be a huge Battlefield fan with countless hours played.
There is only 1 thing worse than greedy developers, and that's gamers.
He talks about 'Indies having a great future' but which each new generation they are seeing spiraling costs to keep up.
Back in the good old PS2 days, devs like Free Radical 'Timesplitters' could make a top selling game with just 15+ staff.
Games cost far less to make to due the graphically fidelity not being demanding enough.
All i can see is indies getting sucked into UE5 just to keep costs down, whilst gamers suffer with graphical clones and unins...
I promised myself i will never buy a a game day1 that features a 'Season Pass'
I feel like MS massively miss-sold their next gen console when they presented it with these games. So many delays, bad launches and shocking game ideas.
I own bf2042 on PS5 (standard edition) does anyone know if i have to pay for this shit or not?
This sums up MS perfectly, a match made in mediocracy heaven.
Gamepass style subscription services (more day1 releases) are harmful to the industry as a whole. The mediocracy and bug ridden launches are only going to get worse, not to mention Dev's making far less money.
Trolling and fanning the flames of the console war has kept me here since 2013.
I'm quite looking forward to some of the protest missions, and the one where you raid an animal test lab.
Where is the next Valkyria Chronicles?
As long as i can play as a paraplegic lesbian protester, i'm not bothered.
loving the midget legs, that's a nice touch. Seriously though, projects like these really need HDR and to viewed in HDR.
"Future Plans" haha love that! They are one of the most reactionary games company out there.
they go for RRP on Ebay, that speaks volumes if you ask me.
What do you mean "You people"?
So GT7 got slammed for DRM, while MS is doing it at a system level....
I'm assuming Kojima Productions will be using the Decima engine for this next game, which is Guerilla/Sony property. I just can't see Sony allowing this without some kind of return, maybe the game is destined for Playstation consoles down the line, or Sony have more access to the azure cloud.
The other way would be that Kojima decides to use another engine (not attached to Sony) but i doubt him as well as his staff would fancy that at all.
