all these games are completely new. except for maybe LBP, which looks like a port of LBP2. and they maybe have their reasons for this, like what FrankMcSpank said.
they tend to forget, again, that were are not living in the Kuturagi era anymore.
i like the sound of that. lets see if true
imagine if that was the price when it launched, oh how we the situation could of changed....
i like final boss levels that have ridiculous backgrounds. like the Master Hand level for instance.
cool. maybe they'll finally bring outrun to the PSN in NA this time as well.
because he's the FINAL BOSS. He's allowed to break the rules XD
the bigger question is $300 wifi, or $300 Wifi+3G? thats the question
if you get close up to them, one. and it aint pretty ( in an awesome way). you'll get the same eye goutching, gut ripping, neck breaking, ass kicking, kick to the face melee kill just like in the single player.
you also have the regular gun to the face kill.
its seems that Kotaku tries to bash it, but they cant, because its that good.
3DS has a bunch of ports coming as well. what value is there for that?
its also free to create :)
people that think that this is going to be another PSP have to start getting their heads out their A## right now. PSP didnt had such a functionality at the time to attract both a casual and hardcore gamer. plus it wasnt easy to develop for like the PS2 and PS3. Ken Kuturagi wasnt the best of friends with Developers either.
on top of that, this isnt going to be like the PS3 were again, in the kuturagi era, they "frankensteined" new hardware that was not yet availa...
it wont cost $400. the times of Ken-Kuturagi making Frankenstein Hardware are long gone. Ken-Kuturagi made hardware that was so unique, it cost a fortune to produce such a thing (See Cell-processor/RSX, XDRAM).
This is hardware that exists already and is available for comapnies who want to utilize this technology.
thats not the point. these phones in the end wont take advantage of such tech, as more phones will become more powerful, but app developers for phone dont really take advantage of it.
NGP on the other hand is a device that will be around for 6+ years, and devs will not only push their games to the limit, they will keep refining their engines so their games will look and feel better on the same hardware. besides, this thing can allow you to play games we always wanted to pla...
well apparently Windows 8 will be able to run on this due to ARM compatibility.
Sony better watch out for hackers
ARM processors are built with portable devices in mind.
in this post ken-Kuturagi era, seeing what the NGP does, expect the PS4 to be Powerful, just like its predecessor, and at the same time, be developer friendly. They're going to reach to more devs who didn't like to develop on playstation because of Ken-Kuturagi.
Also expect a PSN thats more integrated into games, and social Experiences, of course, expect HOME to be what it was back when it was announced in the first place.
and YES you would be stupi...
"Whats in it for codemasters? of course they will hype people up when they have most likely spent millions on development for games on psp2. they will obviously want people to buy their product. come on, it wont happen. psp2 at 250pound wont happen."
what? these devs get information at what sony and the rest of the big 3 plans to do. thats just a dumb comment. and again, do we know if its going to be over $300? anything can happen. Again, if sony wanted to, they ...
werent they going to bring resident evil on PSP at one point? I wonder if that project evolved to a point were they are considering an NGP release instead?
