I still use and Phenom II X4, 3,4Ghz paired with a gtx 460 and 8Gb of RAM. I maxed out Bioshock Infinite, no problems at all. You really don't need the latest and greatest to enjoy gaming :)
EDIT: Anyone who knows what socket they will use?^^
Aww, I want a Pokemon MMO in 1080p, but the WiiU says no :(
Probably sounds somewhat like this:

He didn't say that. He meant that even if the next Xbox has free online, BC and no "always on", it still won't be enough.
But on the other hand the memory is unified which is a really big deal :)
Why on earth would a game that takes place after a nuclear disaster even be in the discussion of the need to be more "family friendly"? The setting of the game entails a very harsh environment.
"A nuclear explosion just killed all your friends and family but your puppy survived. Lets focus on the importance of cuddling with puppies in order to survive!"
I hate that its always games like "Killzone" that are deemed "system sellers". Knack had me really excited and looks like a wonderful game that can really sell a system. Why must the industry be so focused on First person shooters? :(
Well I think that when doing this on ps4, when you start to download a game, you fill first begin playing it through Gaikai while files are being downloaded in the background. Once enough files has been downloaded it will switch over to the local files when you for example switch area in the game. Or sumthin like that :)
@decrypt:
You don't have a clue to as what unified memory means for a system do you? Especially if its on the same die as the CPU.
Just release an updated version for the ps4 :D Think it will do much better there tbh, with all the social features etc :)
I...what... *brain implodes from reading the word "cumstomer"*
This is my thoughts on this idea:

It is quite easy to max this game out. I do it with my Phenom II X4, a Gtx 460 and 8Gb of RAM. I bought the processor back in early 2010 i believe and the graphics-card in late 2010. And I can still max it out with no stuttering what so ever. I will never buy the latest and greatest because of the price and what you actually need to max out most games.
6 FPS!!? That would be horrible :(.
Naa, I know you meant 60, but couldn't resist ^^
If these rumored specs are correct, doesn't Microsofts setup (with the 32MB ESRAM) seem much more complicated to program for? Anyone who has actual knowledge of how these setups (PS4 vs Xbox 720), in terms of difficulty to program for, compare to each other?
Concerning "Gaming-fatigue": http://n4g.com/user/blogpos...
A blogpost I wrote nearly 2 years ago :)
Anyways, nice read and I also believe that milking is a danger to gaming as a business :)
I watched various clips and parts of the conference itself many times. Those clips are good enough to watch over and over. That says something about the potential in the next playstation. Lets hope for the best :)
I am sorry Nvidia, but I think this will be a total flop. To me it feels like one of the most unnecessary gadgets I've ever seen.
It seems to be for the Vita. If you look in the middle of the pic there's a "box" that looks like a Vita powercord. :D
Well.. He is not saying that it won't come to the ps4 as well. I think it is gonna be released for both :)
1680x1050, without any problems at all. :)
