Battlefield is not much better than COD. It just seems like people praise BG just to hate on COD, but I see them both in the same boat. I'm speaking about BF3 though, I haven't played the others and most likely never will since they are with EA. Counter Strike owns them all.

I wish we would stop trying to please everyone. I do feel like there are too many white protagonists, but that doesn't mean put a black guy in there to appease the black agenda. I don't feel like we need to put a female in their to avoid being called sexists. There definitely aren't enough Latino, Asian, and Native protagonists. For me what killed Killzone 2 was the controls and the generic story and characters. Such a beautiful game, even to this day, but I feel like its wasted on these roided up and typical cursing soldiers. The only ones that were okay were Rico, Sev, and I think Garza? (the one that died). Haven't played 3 but I've heard its worse than 2 so I don't know if I'll have time to get around to it by the time the PS4's greatness comes around.

First time I'm seeing this. I'm trying to not see to much of these PS4 launch games so that when they do launch I will be amazed.
There's still people all over the world (not just in poorer countries) that don't have internet so all this "at least its just once" won't even be possible for them. And people used to hate on the PS3 because it was expensive. Well xbone is almost as expensive and can't even be used by some people. Well done M$.
We'll take what we can get. If the userbase starts growing because of the indie games to point where other developers jump on board, then maybe we will see GTA and Bioshock. But for now, we aren't getting those games so indies are keeping the Vita afloat. Thats a good thing.
Well only those who make crappy, rushed games need to worry. I wish they would have backhanded Nstigate aka Nihilistic when they released their two decent but underdeveloped games.
I loved Doom 3 and beat it several times but I need it on my PS3. Are the load times really that bad? Still I'm waiting for this game to be dirt cheap because as good as it is, I already have the collections edition from last gen and I won't pay more than $10 for another slightly upgraded copy.
You obviously haven't been to www.ign.com. The website as whole is pro M$, but you can tell some of the main guys there prefer Sony. They just can't show it too much because M$ will probably stop their payments.

You guys say that Nintendo has always had this problem. True but they are getting outsold most of the time by the Wii and PS Vita. I mean the Vita? Look at how many haters the Vita attracts and yet the Wii U which is supposed to be a next gen home console (not handheld) is losing to it. Thats a bad sign.
I don't think you can just choose one developer as the best. We do know that Sony has some of the best and some of the best games of all time have started and some have stayed on the PlayStation. If you want the best console games, you must come see what the PlayStation family has to offer.
