I agree with starting small. Just look at what happened to the Initiative. Also this is one of the reasons why Sony should not announce partnerships before showing anything. I think Herman Hulst jumped at the gun to work with these guys, because they were the Treyarch leads and they worked on COD and Zombies. But it’s not that big of a waste for Sony because Sony did not buy them.

You really are a lame. You made an account to troll, you got banned, made another account and now you’re copy and pasting your old comments.

@-Foxtrot Sony backed them because they were the Treyarch devs. But It didn’t 100% blow up in their faces because they didn’t acquire them. It’s better to abandon the ship now before you bought it.

@tay8701 Yeah. There was a reason why Sony acquired Jade Raymond’s studio and Firewalk but not Deviation. Sony must of not been impressed with how far along their game was coming along and their studio management.

@sparky77 You honestly can’t compare Deviation to Insomniac, Kojima, and Housemarque. There’s a reason why Sony bought Jade Raymond’s studio and Firewalk early into their development, without them showing anything publicly. They were impressed with their studio management and how far along their projects were coming along. Deviation had the talent, but it seems like they didn’t have the leadership. Just like a certain studio that MS touted as a “AAAA” studio. Lol

@S2Killinit Sony is a business not a charity.

@Bolocal If a game isn’t coming along well or is not meeting deadlines then it should 100% be canceled. Sony is a business, not a charity. Just take a look at RedFall, that game should 100% of been canceled just like Scalebound was. MS is ok with mediocrity, Sony is not. But I understand that Xbox fanboys like yourself waited two years and came out of the woodwork like cockroaches to write this. Lol You’re also lame for making a new account just to write this.

@JokerBoy129 The UK Government said that won’t intervene. They’re not the US. But with MS, who the hell knows. Money talks.

@Asplundh It was the CMA that said that.

@343_Guilty_Spark You keep coping, you sound desperate. Let me ask you this. With the exception of you wanting to play COD on gamepass at no additional charge, what are you as an Xbox gamer gaining from this? Outside of COD (MS can take it away eventually) MS will be taking away most Activision games. They’re going to be making most of those franchises exclusive to the least popular console and brand, how is that growing gaming?

982d ago 3 agree0 disagreeView comment

Wow I almost bought it, then I googled it. It would of been weird for Sony to buy Square while the Activision deal is still being processed.

@DarkZane Reuters and Bloomberg are reporting that the EU will be approving on Monday. But I’m not sure how the EU approving will help much. The EU is apart of smaller European countries that MS isn’t really that big in. The CMA is much more important because it is MS’s 2nd biggest market, MS needs that.

@SullysCigar You said “All this without factoring in the EU and FTC verdicts”. The EU verdict will already be made Monday. I said this because I thought you didn’t know.

@-Foxtrot Fox still mad about TLOU2. Lol The general consensus was that she was a great Ellie, and she was.

@DarXyde But the ultimate decision will still be made by the CMA and according to a lot of these legal experts and CNBC the CMA rarely budges on a major decision. I do agree with you that this thing isn’t over. MS is not Nvidia, they have a lot of money and power, they will fight this until the end. I say it’s still 50/50.

The Path of Least Resistance.

988d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

@DarXyde How do the CMA lose when they’re the ones that have to approve it? Also the UK government is going to give the CMA even more power to fight these mergers later this year.

@GotGame818 Most of those games that you mentioned were multiplats that were in development before MS acquired them. High on Life was mid and it’s not 1st party, Hi-Fi Rush and Flight Simulator aren’t going to get people into your ecosystem, and the Halo Infinite multiplayer was a disaster.
