The other problem is, within the next 10 years or less. Gaming is going to take a massive hit in quality. Not only that. The old guard of game developers will most likely be winding down from all the amazing series made in the 80's & 90's. The greed and bankruptcy of original ideas will have collapsed upon itself. The gaming industry is oversaturated with inflated egos and selfish fans who want to self insert, because of fanboy hatred.

They amount of money MS pays for some of these titles is ridiculous. It just doesn't add up at all. Repeat for the publishers for getting their check. But I highly think MS itself has deadline on how long they want this strategy to go on.

Yup!! I am. Yes it works for them and I love it. I want them to have better than average old tech so the scope of some of their games can drop jaws. I'm not talking about counting pixels either.
But they've gotten very lazy on their games. I still like their approach don't just make game play your biggest innovation.
This next gen HAS to focus on performance, gameplay and story. We already know the industry is obsessed with PvP and need to ramrod it in single player games. But for Crys sake, make fun new series.
