Looks like they are doing block based streaming - they must load all of the physics (cars are still driving) but tracks get streamed in blocks. Just looks like it didn't get loaded in time.
Red - was that aimed at me?
If so have a look at my post history, I've generally been critical to all consoles where deserved, and having been given a second hand 360 (which was on the verge of death) and now purchasing my own, I can say without question I've been missing out.
To that end, just want to put that view forward, Sony really are behind the curve - outside of audio (which 7.1 LPCM is far far better than the best I can get out of 360 which i...
Loyal Sony follower here, but I've just about given up on the ps3, now that the hardware looks sorted, just went and purchased a 360S. 4 years after launch, we still don't have a feature set to keep up, never mind better xbox live. Worst, I think its too late for some of the stuff ot get added as it would just break all older games (with no chance of them being patched)...
Including, but not limited too...

- Cross gam...
Got mine on Thursday, very impressed so far. Only ever had a second hand 20 gig 360 (given to me after a friend upgraded to an elite) - big step up, in terms of noise and build quality (tho it still feels a little cheap next to the ps3 slim).
Also, still gets very hot (maybe the ps3 just does a better job of hiding this) - after 5 or so hours gaming last night, it was hot to the touch on the fan on the top.
Always been a big sony fan, but can't deny its ...
Been a massive Sony / PlayStation fan and a die hard follower for as long as I can remember. Had the PS3 since launch, and generally 'its ok' feeling towards PSN. Mate gave me his old xbox (had it about 3 months now) that he replaced with an Elite.
Honestly, Sony are very very lucky that MS had hardware problems with the xbox, cos just about everything about it, bar the reliability is just as good, if not better than the PS3. If the hardware had been reliable, I do...
But home is a complete cash sink. Rotten and unnecessary.

Look, shortages, assclowns.
Esp considering some retails are having stock / supply issues - I'm still waiting for my copy from CDWOW (yes, I know I could cancel and go elsewhere, but I used my nectar points to pay for it...)
already has trophy support
Standards get higher, hence eroding review scores.
Still never played it on 360, going to be a purchase for me in the next few days.
Just been playing the demo - 1 track, 5 cars.
The track is very nice, but the cars, blugh, not a patch on GT. Handling feels worse to me than Forza2 (tho only had about 20 mins with it).
GT5 is going to spank it.
Price elasticity of demand - they should at least give it a go, see if they sell more than twice as much by having half the price. Know at about £1 I might consider it, 3 quid, not a chance in hell.
Looks really really impressive - whilst GT will no doubt be amazing, there is defo room for another hardcore racing sim, and I think this is it.
It looks like the power is region specific now - used to have a 110 - 240 power supply, looks to be 110 only on those pics - bit of a shame but understandable
If thats the case I'm defo sold - that was the only sticking point for me about the slim.
Disappointed about the lack of otheros, but to be honest, the linux scene really hasn't taken to the ps3 as much as I expected.
Ferrari Challenge (allows screenshots of the cars in the showroom) - along with custom XMB soundtracks. The psudo-sequel Supercar Challenge looks to support it too.
hopefully they will repay peoples good will by adding things like trophy support
Fingers crosssed the PS3 adds mkv support, and the 'scene' ditch AC3 for the vastly improved aac codec.
That would be simply bliss.
The PS3 has the lowest software take up of the next gen machines, despite being the only one were you can copy the software.
(see Cod4, GTA4, etc)
I'm not really for or against piracy, just against the tearful its going to kill everything if we don't act crap that companies like the MPAA spoonfeed clowns like you.
ps. I dare bet I've got more origional titles than yourself, so branding me a pirate is a little inaccurate. Leading weight to my 'just...
Hardly going to say it would be rubbish. Honestly, this aint news.
