Good. Female soldiers absolutely don't need to be in BF1 and no one gives a shit they weren't in the last games. Battlefield has been a huge success without the inclusion of female soldiers and will continue to be successful without the inclusion of female soldiers.

It doesn't matter, the majority of players will choose a male lead just as they did last time. So even with a default female lead, you'll still see 70-80% of users create a male lead. That was the range for all three ME games and it won't be any different here. So what the default is really doesn't matter
This is one of the dumbest nit picky reasons to s**t on WD2. It's a video game. Everything is heightend to create fun gameplay. You'll complain about how the equipment/tech isn't realistic yet say nothing when your character is shot and killed only to miraculously "respawn".
