Yea thats the absolute worst thing about this reveal trailer, its tone. BF1, even with some of the liberties it took with the WWI setting, was fairly authentic. This looks to be going in the complete opposite direction. A direction that you'd expect Call of Duty to take, not a main entry in the Battlefield series. This couldn't of been a bigger let down. Was so excited for the series to return to WWII, but have no desire to play a spoof or parody of that war.
I hope thats the case. Maybe it'll stop people from adding stupid gun camos and other garbage that have no business being in a Battlefield game thats set in WWII.
