Not surprised. Polygon isn't in the business to review games, or to help gamers make purchasing decisions, or to help them be more informed. And this is EXACTLY why Judgement was garbage. The developers listened to idiots like this instead of listening to those who mattered, the true Gears fan base. Gears 4 is very much a call back to the OG trilogy, which is exactly what the fans that matter wanted. Gears should never be trying to get the CoD or Halo users into their game. If you are coming from Halo or CoD and feel uncomfortable in Gears, then the devs are doing something right. This game isn't for you.

Bloodborne is deff the best in the series, but I'm loving DS3. Save for a few weak boss designs it's been epic all the way through.

Its about damn time someone said it. Im tired of EA and the like releasing a demo 3 weeks before launch and calling it a 'beta'. If your "beta" isn't out at least 5-6 months BEFORE you launch, it aint a f'ing beta, its a damn demo.
I haven't felt one was harder than the other, just different. Each game has their own unique difficulties. I'm enjoying DS3 immensely tho. Bloodborne has been my favorite in the series so far, but DS3 giving it a run for its money
This is why games shouldn't be made for PC. PC users are always the ones to hack/cheat and find exploits. Those exploits then trickle down to the console crowd. 90% of the PC community play games simply to find exploits and use them to ruin other peoples experience. If this game wasn't on PC it'd have far less exploits and would be a much better experience overall.
Simply put, the Souls games aren't for every gamer, nor should they be. If you find them too difficult, too bad, go play something else. This logic is absolutely destroying the industry, along with the BS SJW crap that's being shoved into games. Not every game will be for every gamer and it's dangerous to think they should.
Its why the Division needs players like you. There will ALWAYS be bad guys, gamers just more often than not like to be dicks. Not enough agents out there helping one another, too many are outright bad, or just indifferent.
