One in Europe and one in the U.S. that have said that GTA has been driving hard ware sales for the PS3. I would imagine that this is a general trend.
I am also willing to bet that GTAIV moves more hardware for Sony than Halo 3 did for Microsoft. AND GTA IS NOT EVEN EXCLUSIVE! NPD #s will be fun next month.
It takes years for new tech to become main stream. Took CDs along time, took DVDs along time, is taking HDTVs along time and all three where expensive for along time.

You have to be kidding me. PS3 is a gaming console first and foremost. Blu-Ray is also used for games jerk off examples, RFOM, MGS4 ect. ect.

The list of things that Microsoft said was not needed for the 360 is getting smaller though. HDMI check, HDD sorta check, motion controls might get a check, and now Blu-Ray. See above jingle.
Not to mention the hardware issues that the 360 has. And then top it off with the fact that they want to put another Xbox out every five years? I for one will not buy a new ...

I have not bought a new Blu-Ray movie after I Am Legend. There just is not alot of great movies coming out right now.
