I hope so. Installs seem to make my games run smoother.
Before going ahead I looked above me, behind me, towards the other side of the river (I guess it was a river) just to check if there was any less detail around me than there was on the path I was supposed to traverse. There were no such compromises.
First thing I noticed graphics wise is the CGI quality of the lighting. It was so non-gamey and realistic it felt real. It's usually easier to impress with dark settings these days, while bright ones look washed out or whatever. Not i...
last week and the Sony Style store. Wow. Pure eye-gazum.
Since when has any Playstation had a "flagship title". Never, the Playstation brand has always been about a ton of games covering all genres and always will be.
And yes I think that Killzone 2 will be awesome.
First and foremost. The 360 only has a 5 mill. unit lead world wide? With a full year head start in the states and 18 month head start in Europe its only 5 mill. I think that it will get over taken by the end of this year.
Second, GTA online. Yes Live is more stable, it cost money. GTA is running fine on the PSN now, it took a little bit to do so and need a patch, big deal its still free.
Third, And I quote. "But answer to your question specifically, didn’t Sony...
If by some snow balls chance in hell this dose happen. The only REAL reason will be the year head start.
Great usage of the GBA game slot for the keys. Hope to see more of this in the future.
aftrdark21, yes I also think a FFVII remake could break GTAs sales record. Even if only on PS3.
Other contenders in my mind would be Star Wars TFU (if it gets the right marketing) and its coming on all plats, MGS4, Gran Turismo 5 (huge fanbase), FFXII, RE5 (multi plat).
We have to keep in mind that as time goes on the install bases get bigger.
I just hope the new team dose not F^ck it up.
The game never had a date given from Sony or GG. So no delay. Also Feb 2009 is still part of the 2008 business fiscal year. I don't think that anyone has stopped to think about this.
Releasing Killzone 2 in Feb. is a good thing. No direct comp. with R2, larger install base due to yearly sales and another holiday season. And before the end of the companies financial fiscal year. Or is Feb. the start of the next business year I can not remember right now. Either way, end the year ...
Just saying bro. Last in was a joke, lighten up.
You will still be getting my money. Damn you.
Yes Gears was laggy as hell (at times). But still I did not like Gears online at all. Single player/ split screen co-op was great though.
Second. R2's multi player/co-op/2 story lines will blow any other FPS away as far as content. And it will play and look great.
Third. Killzone 2 will eat the comp alive as far as physics and graphical power. Game play TBA.
Forth. Gears 2 will be a great game, has alot of cool new game play (newest issue of GameInformer...
As long as we keep getting screens and trailers until Feb. I can wait.
This game is f*ck*ng gorgeous.
To many games coming this year any ways. Also Feb is my B-Day month. Feb 2009 Killzone 2, March 2009 God of War 3, FFXIII 2009? Well it looks like 2008 the year of the Playstation 3, and 2009 the year of the Playstation 3.
1. Pack up your 360.
2. Take your 360 to Game Stop.
3. Trade your 360 in for store credit.
4. Get a PS3.
And now your 360 is fixed. LOL
Hey guys Im kidding, just like giving yall a hard time.
a Sega VR in the pic?
This game actually sounds good. Still not enough to make me buy another 360 though.
"I'm buying Blu-ray for the rest of my future releases, like Iron Man and Dark Knight (cannot wait for those releases actually)."
I'm right there with you. And my wife will want the new Harry Potter, what else is coming this summer?
All true and valid points.
