Picked up my demo codes it says on the slip that it is not good until 02/05/2009. You know I tried anyway, but nothing. Oh well, waiting a month for the demo and another 22 days for the game.

I have been waiting like 3 years for this bad boy, the rest of this time should be a breeze.

It's so close now, I can hardly contain myself.

The start of this new year is going to rock, KILLZONE 2, Resistance Retrebution, and Resident Evil 5 all within a month of each other! Very nice!

“The Blu-ray format is in jeopardy simply because the advent of downloadable HD movies is so close,” said Roger L. Kay, president of Endpoint Technologies Associates. a research and consulting company. “Streaming video from the Internet and other means of direct digital delivery are going to put optical formats out of business entirely over the next few years.”

“What we saw in 2008 was increasing adoption of Blu-ray along with decreasing hardware prices,” said Reed Hastings, the chi...

Has worked great in alot of games. Uncharted, Heavenly Sword, Flow and Warhawk come to mind. It just depends on how the devs use it. I like it and would miss it if it where to be taken out of the DS3.

@cliffbo
I also would like to see adjusting the trajectory of grenades with SixAxis put back into Uncharted 2.

First, yes layoffs can make stocks worth more, I have seen it happen many times because when you are doing less volume like right now (bad global economy) you need less workers, less workers equal less payroll in turn leads to higher profits. Payroll is the easiest overhead to control. WOW!

Second, Sony has been restructuring ever since Howard Stringer took the helm, the problem is not that Sony is not making money it is that they should and most likely can make more money than t...

It dose exactly what it is supposed to do. And that is allow you to directly communicate with other people world wide who have a PS3. Home has only been available to everyone for about a month now, and has given me another 17 people on my friends list. There is always someone online playing something I own.

I for one am looking forward to the new spaces and content.

First, the PS3 outsold the 360 world wide last year (2007). Second, it might still pull it off again this year (2008). That will be two years in a row at a higher price point. Selling more hardware world wide at a higher price point would indicate that demand is higher for the PS3.

What do you think will happen in (2009) after a price cut with the games lineup that is coming?

Your opinion and logic are flawed. Sorry.

As some of you know I was recently laid off......

SNE - Sony Corporation (ADR) (NYSE)
21.55 +0.59 (2.81%) Dec 30 4:03pm ET

MSFT - Microsoft Corporation (NASDAQ)
19.34 +0.38 (2.00%) Dec 30 4:00pm ET

......But layoffs do work. They help companies maximize profits!

Really though? A lot of the comments here just make me laugh when pertaining to anything financial.
