consoles are fixes hardware that NEVER changes and both consoles are not much different sony just has much better first party devs than MS
the only platform that doesn't limit devs is PC because pc is constantly improving this is the reason pc is always ahead of consoles aside from the fact that consoles are always designed to be cheap

I'd say its between crysis 1 remake and RAGE but considering the fact that RAGE runs at 60fps I'll give it to the 360 version of rage( it has much less texture pop-ins than the ps3 version as well as much lower load times even with no HDD install) in all its the best of the console versions.

I was just trying to show what pc cpus from a few years ago(its not a graphics demonstation but a physics and particles one and those effects run off cpu) are cable of in the physics and particles departments and it does surpase the physics and particle effects of any ps3 exclusive.

the ps3 and 360 versions look almost identical with the 360 version being a bit sharper and has much less texture op=ins than the ps3 version even with NO HDD install.
pc advanced settings need to be unlocked though but its pretty easy. even when its not unlocked it blows the console versions out of the water at least on my high spec rig and when advanced features such as higher res textures are unlocked it raises the bar even higher.

have you seen crysis 1 running on 360 and ps3 ? it looks amazing better than anything else I've seen on consoles ? both consoles are very similar in horsepower the ps3 is only marginally more powerful than 360 overall the difference isn't as much as you'd like to believe .
the reason 360 exclusives are behind is because MS has no first party devs not because of the platform games like RAGE, forza 4, gears 3 and crysis 1 prove that ...
thats because nobody is pushing pc. pc is already over a generation ahead of current consoles but devs are all focused on consoles and neglecting pc.
besides quite a number of pc games make the best looking console games look like ps2 games even multiplats from several years ago look better than anything on consoles. the generational leap has been possible since 2009 we're in late 2011

this is why MS is developing a very close relationship with them
cryis 1 on consoles doesn't look as good as the pc verison running medium with a little texture filtering and anti-aliasing it is also inferior to the pc medium becasue it has less geometry, lower res textures amongst other things(so crytek wasn't completly lying when they said crysis 1 wasn't possible on consoles) but the console crysis 1 still plays much better because of better controls and nano-suit powers.
