Dude wrote the guy's name wrong 4x during the article. It's Inafune, not Infaune! This is Journalism 101. C'mon people, at least try! Anyway, as for the subject itself. I agree. I'm a fan of the old school resis over the new ones, and the new ones just do not feel like resis.
Infamous is not really a TPS though. RE5 plays more like a tank. Chris can't jump, can't shoot while moving, can't do this, can't do that... etc... anyway, infamous is more dynamic. It's a lot less shooting and more "can i make the hover to that ledge? how long can i string riding this power line? stupid secret is on a ledge i can barely stand on one foot, gotta be perfect!" Anyway, you can't go into it thinking it's a tps and trying to apply similar cont...
They'd probably skip it and focus on the sequel to Arkham City. Games out of movies just suck all around - you don't make one unless you are money hungry. That's my take at least.
No chance against Arkham City
Here's to hoping Nintendo doesn't shut him down.
Yeah, I was about to say "NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"
Wonder if those are 60gig PS3 with full-BC. Cuz if so, i wouldn't even mind dropping that cash and buying a larger HD later.
The people at Atlus have a good business mentality - undershoot in sales and be surprised later with the public reaction. Do I think Catherine will sell more than 150k worldwide? Yes. How much more? Don't know. But, they are not in the same boat as NT with their expected 1+ million sales with Enslaved and getting 80k in 3 weeks. They don't shit talk either. They make great, hard games with replay value and a shout to the hardcore.
Atlus did very well publishing both of these. Kudos to FROM for developing them as well!
don't usually comment or watch your videos, but since i'm really looking forward to this, i decided to give it a try. just wanted to say: good idea on the custom suits/weapons, hope they take it for ds3
HS sales were there.
where's pachter?
Maybe they are counting on Capcom money with DmC now. Wonder if anything will change within their contract. They are pretty stuck up at NT, so I'm sure they won't listen, again, and keep the Danteen Antoniades they have now.
@OSU_Gamer
I'm using my last bubble and giving you one for the constructive debate even if we may have differing opinions. Cheers!
@OSU_Gamer
I've been wearing glasses most of my life. If it's a matter of aesthetics, it's a negligible factor in my opinion. Would I love for it to be at the level of holograms? Sure. But it has to start somewhere, and for gaming, more so than movies, this really is the next step of immersion. (IMHO of course)
Fair enough. But, that's why I said save because it takes time. I'm getting one, but it won't be for a while as I can't afford it right now. My point is, just because I can't afford it right now doesn't mean it's not a technology that shouldn't be developed. I can't wait to buy it, but I'm not going to discredit the tech because I can't get it right at this moment.
New tech is not for everyone. Doesn't matter how much the TV and glasses cost. Innovation is expensive. Just because everyone thinks they can have the new shiny, that's not necessarily true. Sony tech is not made to be paid with mommy's credit card. It's for people with jobs, who can save and appreciate the sickest entertainment system possible when they finally buy it. They don't care if you can't afford it. If it's good they are putting it out. See: PS3, PSP, 3D,...
I'm getting sleepy with all this yapping from MS. Why don't you just shut up and make games... you know, like Sony.
to Mordor!!!
This is what makes a good horror movies:
1st - horror. Obvious.
2nd - human nature. hunger, sex, depression, stress, paranoia are ALL part of that. yes, sex too! it's a need. it's human. and it shows up even more when hope is lost.
3rd - adult themes. i'm not talking about all the people dying, but what are people capable of. do they kill? do they rape? do they survive? (first scene in re2 was the guy who almost killed you in the weapon shop cuz he didn'...
