Doesn't matter what person you sentence is structured around. A collective noun is a collective noun and still singular.

Edit: Also, I'm rather surprised at my disagrees. Quite frankly, here I sit with a communications degree, properly educated in the art of sentence structure and grammar, embarrassed both as a gamer and as a writer by so called game journalism, attempting to educate said journalists to no avail. Quite frankly, I'm done reading drivel from N4G. I...

It would be nice if writers online realized that companies are not plural nouns. Sony are; Microsoft are; Rocksteady are... it should be IS in every single one of those cases.

probably because you can beat it in a few hours and paying full price just doesn't make sense for a game with no replayability?

There's an actual demo coming out late December, and Prehistoric Moves is included in the LBP2 disk. I don't see an issue with this being Move-only.

Which just so happens to be a lot of speculation... OK, are game "writers" even out of high school yet? There is a lot of speculation that the next GameInformer cover deals with the new Tomb Raider. Saying that it does, and publishing it, is by no means a reveal.
Do you have a legitimate source? No.
Do you have official word? No.
In fact, all that's being done is preempting an assertion on the speculation of the GameInformer cover, which is probably cor...

That they have given NO interviews since Enslaved sales numbers were released? None. Zip. Nada. What's that all about? Would be really cool if they came out and said they were wrong, but the arrogant pricks won't.

There's no way of knowing how many people are actually playing it. How many of those are rrod? How many are "upgrades?" How many are ultimate editions? Same thing for the PS3 - don't give a damn. In fact, the only people who should care are dev companies because they need to know the user base for each console. Ever imagine that there might be less 360 users out there than PS3 users accounting for everything. Devs are the only people who should care, and be pissed off about ...

Or because Ninja Theory is whiny garbage that has proven absolutely nothing when it comes to handling insanely intricate combat gameplay. Plus UE3? Really?

First, there's no data in the article regarding the peripherals. It goes on to say that systems aren't selling as much. I've always been of the opinion that Move was for people who already had a PS3. It's hardly a system seller. There are exclusives for that. As for Sports Champions? It's Sports Champions! The only way I'd buy that is with the bundle, that's it. But I'll probably just buy the peripherals without the bundle. So, no. You won't see a huge impa...

Square might have a chance again. Anyway, could they break their contract with NT now? I HATE NT just because they are the most stuck up devs on the planet. I think if they can break the contract, they should. Get out and make a DEVIL MAY CRY (spelled out) we all deserve.

Well, I'll agree that development for the PSP has slowed down, but I'd attribute rampant pirating to that. In fact, that's probably one of their biggest concerns with the PSP2. There's no incentive for developers to create games they won't get paid for. But I would disagree when you say Sony has abandoned the PSP when Sony Studios are still releasing exclusive games. Sony sold plenty of PSPs to keep developers happy and working, but pirates took the incentive away. To me, ...

I did read what you said, and that's why I have the parenthetical. I have to disagree with Resistance since I enjoyed it a lot. Whatever you do or do not count is not what matters, it's a game nonetheless. Feel free to complain all you want - fact of the matter is that the games are there regardless of whether you admit it.

Dissidia? Birth by Sleep? Resistance? 3rd Birthday? SH: Origins? SH:Shattered Memories? LBP:PSP? Crisis Core? FFT: War of the Lions? Killzone? MDR:PSP?

(some are over two years, I know - but these are good games and not MGS or GOW)
