Just because Activision are guaranteed to make boat loads of money from MW2 shouldn't be a reason for lowering the game to $40! Can they? For sure they can! Let's say they sell 5 million copies at $40 when they were originally going to sell the game at $50 thats a 50 million dollar loss. Now put your dumbass in Kotick's place and ask yourself "should we lower the cost of MW2 to please a small minority of gamers or make ourselves an additional 50 million and invest it in...whatever?"...

An Elite is still very expensive. If it drops to $300, it should sell very well. Just imagine a MW2 Elite bundle during the holidays for $300 - $350. It would fly off the shelves. Add exclusive DLC and it's "game over" like so many of you have been saying today.
