They are not even close in functionality and you know it. The current state of Windows 10/Xbox is far beyond anything ever promised for Windows Vista which launched over 10 year ago. Grow up.

Xbox is already a service. Xbox is also hardware. Both are under the Windows 10 umbrella, thus Xbox at its core is not only a Windows 10 device but also a Windows 10 service. I know some want Microsoft to stop making hardware but there is no reason to when Xbox still sells very well and addresses a core segment of gamers who want a simplified solution for playing Xbox games.

I think the people shouting are mostly Sony fans. They are scared of having to deal with the two headed monster called Windows 10. The prospect of cross buy, cloud saves, synergy between Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs scares the crap out of them. People seem to be missing the point here. Xbox is a Windows 10 device. Microsoft owns Windows 10. Exclusives going to Windows 10 PC as cross buys doesn't hurt Xbox as Xbox is Windows 10.
The Witness and Fire watch are likely coming to Xbox One now that Both developers are free.
Vita isn't a console and Windows 10 is on many more devices than there are Bits users.
I think exclusives matter but I don't think number of consoles sold matter as much anymore.
