That's just complete ignorance. Bootcamp is a standard program on every Mac now. I run Windows smoother on my new macbook pro than I ever had on my wife's PC.
So far, I've played Crysis, Oblivion, and Bioshock at high settings with no problems.
And whenever I want I can just switch over to Leopard. I think it's pretty sweet that you can get the best of both worlds. PC's can't give you that.
The economy is teetering on the edge of another depression! So $199 vs. $399 is pretty much a given.
Based on price alone it will sell much more, NOT based on its games library...or hardware reliability for that matter.
My biggest problem with the game is that there is no vehicle customization. You just pick if you want a truck or a bike etc, and race. C'mon...I don't get a money reward for winning a race to put towards a faster engine to one up the competition?
My other problem is the "differences" between vehicle classes is that they didn't seem all that different to me. I once took a corner as fast as I could with a bike, yet just out of the turn a truck passes me...?? This ...
You didn't comprehend a god damn thing I said did you.
I'm NOT mocking their work, I am stating it is futile. I did NOT say there were others that have already researched THEIR proprietary solution to storage.
I stated, if you ever bother to understand the meaning of words in succession creating sentences, was that I have read MANY articles thus far on engadget, engadget hd, cnet, other tech sites, about various research teams creating different ways to store ...
I see these types of articles all the time. Research team discovers a new way to do this and that...
This Singapore research team needs to get in line, because there are hundreds of research teams across the world that have submitted their research.
They have to be the first (which they aren't) to get their discoveries to companies that can manufacture in order for their research to come to fruition.
In short--who cares.
Everyone knows the graphics are sweet, but holy crap are the sound effects are amazing!!
The title really should read:
"Why apples are better than oranges"
Nintendo is drunk off their own sales. Nintendo today is what Sony was in 2005 thinking everyone that owned a PS2 would gladly pay $600+ for the next iteration of the playstation.
Make no mistake, with the Wii's insane sales, Nintendo isn't changing their strategy. They will continue to milk the casual and continue to churn out wiiware with the occasional high quality first party game for the "core."
The Wii couldn't trace the crack down Mario's ass.
Are you serious?
This topic and your posts have had little to do with the generalities of "special effects" and whether or not the Wii could compute them, and more to do with ray tracing specifically and whether or not you think the PS3 can perform those calculations.
You:
"Actually it would be possible on the Xbox 360 or the Nintendo Wii"
This reply was to Ps3fanboy777 who was referring to ray tracing.
You think t...
Nintendo Rep,
It is clear to me you just wanna get into a fight so this is all I will say.
The PS3 is perfectly capable of ray tracing as has been demonstrated in Warhawk wherein the volumetric clouds are entirely ray traced.
this list when the author notes that modern games have worse story lines. That's the most backwards pile of sh*t statement I've ever heard. This moron is clearly a retro tetris fan and that's all he knows.
Serious fanboy is serious.

MOAR!!!!
How about we make this comparison AFTER HOME has launched. In doing so, we are then comparing the services at full functionality as they were intended. Otherwise, LIVE wins hands down.
WTF? For those of us that didn't get it for 360 or PS3, preferring the freedom a PC provides, no we wouldn't have to buy it again.
For those that already have it on 360 and PS3, the answer is pretty clear that they shouldn't buy it again; why the hell would you?
This is the dumbest article I've ever read.
The clouds in Warhawk are raytraced.
pned.
Your post didn't make sense to me. I think what you meant to say was that Japan WAS the home of gaming at one point, but sure ISN'T now.
