I think he's better than the quality of show that is available to him. Give the guy a decent budget, a legitimate venue, and more opportunities to interview key players in the industry, he could really have something.

-The PS2 is still selling even two years into the Wii's lifespan. Granted it isn't selling what it used to, but the fact that it is still selling this far into the next gen says a lot.
-The Wii cannot possibly have that kind of longevity. Its sales will slow eventually, especially when the prices of the PS3 and 360 fall even more. It's already last gen graphics this gen, so it won't be selling come even better graphics found in the xbox 720 or PS4.

I'll get disagreed, but FFVII is my favorite game of all time. (Hence the avatar) and I want its remake to be greater than the second coming of Christ.
I'd rather it wait until the PS4 comes out with its multiple Cell processors, and god knows what graphics card to yield the craziest visuals and physics this side of insanity. By then Sony's online capabilities will have matured and the Home experience will be in its second generation so who knows how Square could manipulate the FFV...

Up until this point, my favorite game was SNATCHER which only took about 5 hours MAX to beat.

GTA IV and Gears 2 were well established franchises. These games pass the "Frat boy test." Meaning you can ask any meat-head in college and they can tell you all about these games.
Killzone cannot pass the Frat boy test. While the series is by no means a "no name" franchise, it certainly does not have the millions of zealot followers like the previous mentioned.
Killzone 2 will be the first step into the canon for most. It HAS to be advert...
