why do people have to rain on others parades. It's a NEW Halo game with a new direction. You just have to watch some of the bungie dev vids to see how much work n passion has gone into this, a far cry from most games that come out.
Bungie even make fun of themselves about how it was supposed to be an expansion but everyone got carried away.

I got the launch PS3, steady as a rock.
on my 3rd 360 but i cant ever give it up.
MS need to increase consumer opinions, a re-design 360 with 100% reliability, sleek n smaller exterior, integrated wifi and expandable HDD's, etc. Might just convince people who are unhealthily loyal to sony to take a chance and realize that gaming is truly fun on either console.

the slim is a new product as well as having the price cut, it's gonna do well. No brainier really.
The 360 is the same old console with a price cut. Nothing to get that excited about, selling steady.
I do think the problem is on both sides.
Most people who own both consoles are more chilled out but there is a large percentage of single console owning fanboys who take it too far.
Sony fanboys do seem to be a touch more obnoxious and arrogant than their 360 whining counterparts. Maybe they think its a class thing or the fact that Playstation has a richer pedigree, "I paid more for my console so im better and i've got blu-ray so suck it!" They seem to think of...

Why the comparison? each to their own. If you prefer one console to another then thats your choice. enjoy your choice and be happy. If you really are a gamer then you will have all three consoles and you will love the fact that each one has great exclusives so you can be proud and enjoy playing your games, and to give you a reason to play said console.

I agree with some of what you said, especially about the PS3 development, and its HD capabilities out of the box. Sony was a firm believer in the HD revolution and they placed a much larger bet than MS, but they had almost a year for the industry to develop accordingly. MS made some risky choices with jumping the gun on release and it has cost them badly in some areas and given them an advantage in others.
