I loved 'those days', I remember spending hours in the local game shops when I was a kid, staring at all the game boxes, dreaming of playing them all, I never once cared what console they were on, I was just glad they existed. My friends and I would talk for ages about all the cool stuff that we experienced when playing and about games we hadnt played.

Well, based on the fact that I have both consoles on the way, I would have liked to see a de-facto difference. Because if I am to believe anything that the Playstation Nation has been screaming about till i'm deaf in the ears since Feb, then the PS4 version of BF4 (multiplat or not) should have destroyed the Xbox version, which is clearly not the case.
So yes maybe I do need glasses, but maybe they should be sony tinted because I don't see any cause to justify the app...

I am really surprised with the comparisions, according to all the claims that have been put forward regarding the superiority of the PS4, why am I squinting to tell the difference?
So if the Xbox is running at 720p and the PS4 is running at 900p there is a clear pixel density difference, which can only have one outcome. Which is that the PS4 version can hold more information on screen per frame than the Xbox One.
The science tells us that the PS4 version is superior, case closed. But... when looking through the various comparison videos and screen grabs its evident that both versions seem to trounce each other at different moments in the game.

Well, my opinion of the games demoed at the tour event were the opposite. I though Ryse looked stunning! I played it for over an hour and I could'nt get enough and I only had access to one round. Dead Rising 3 shocked me with how much can happen at the same time on screen without any dip in performance, the graphics were not mind blowing but better than im used to seeinjg for this type of game.
At the event I went to, we were all told to take as many pictures or videos as...
The framerate was really choppy with loads of slowdown and hanging. The graphics were no better than current gen in most areas. Only the animal close ups had a slight wow factor. Overall I just didn't really enjoy it, but in fairness this isn't a pickup and play game, it demands your time to really get into it, besides I just couldn't stop playing Ryse! It was bloody amazing!
I physically played for over 4hours on the Xbox One last Friday. While I can't comment on Xbox live, I can say that out of 9 Xbox's that I played on, all booted into the OS and back to the game without a glitch. I saw people pissing around with menus and trying to get into every screen much to the annoyance of the reps. All real xbox's, all real games, all real fun (except zoo tycoon).

This is very good news, last thing I want to do is spend even more cash to have to buy an internal HHD, to much faffing. This should solve the storage issue for a while.
