It is not just 2D games that are going to look better. Gearbox says the Wii U is more powerful and will have the best looking version of Alien Colonial Marines over other console versions. Also they are developing the game for all consoles, so I I don't want to hear "well of coarse they are going to say that, they are developing a game for it and they want to sell it." Why would Gearbox downplay the PS3 and 360 versions, wouldn't that be bad PR? Here are your links.

As commented above. Trine 2 Directors Cut and Legends do things graphically that PS3 and 360 simply can not do. Its is a fact. So no the sky is not the limit for Current gen consoles. http://www.geek.com/article...

It looks better than Origins already. People who comment on the clock speed tend to not take into consideration the CPU/GPU "more modern tech". The Wii U is still in its early stages of games. If we all recall the 360 launch, MOST of the games were not very good at all. They had some major issues. Now look at the 360, it has some beautiful games, though it is not my Console of choice. Cryengine 3 runs "Beautifully" on Wii, and Cryteck is developing a game using the engine...

Yes too many people that don't have a Wii U sit there and Knock it. It does more than my PS3 and it is REALLY Cool playing Black Ops on it, in FACT I would challenge ANY PS3 owner or 360 owner to play Multi-Player on line same room and compare, Or two pro-controllers and Gamepad as a map and tell me I am wrong...I am sorry, if I had to buy a freaking PS3 again, yes I would, because I have too many games for it not to, but Wii you is priced about the same as a PS3 Slim, and can do SOOOOOO...
I used to do that allot, Oh just one more level. I remember getting Link to the Past and played for like 15 hours straight. Till I had to go to work, and then Got home from work and played for I don't even know how much longer. Till I beat the game. There have been games I have doe that with since then, but that is one that sticks out in my mind. I kept telling myself "your almost have every heart piece" one more dungeon etc. I don't do that so much now, cause I have to much...

Microsoft sold more after the price cut, as did Sony. Therefore once the console began to turn profit-Price was cut and the profit was no longer there. Allot of people are starting to turn away from Live, seeing as how Sony and Nintendo are not charging the premium fee. Live is great but I am not going to pay to play BOPS2 online when I do it on Wii U free. I no longer support Microsoft Xbox. PS3, Wii U, PC for me. "making money isn't going away anytime soon" Well I am not sure...
Terrible numbers? It sold more than Microsoft or Sony the same time frame their launch. Don't get me wrong I really wanted PS3 at launch, but $599 back then was too much for my wallet. So I am pretty sure that is why Nintendo has sold more. We did buy Xbox360 at launch, 3 months later Ring of Death...Ouch.

You are right, The Illumiroom is a gimmick, Unless you could use it in an averagely lit room and not in the dark. Also many people do not have the proper space to display this properly. Right now My room has some sunlight my LED 55inch 240mhz looks GREAT, but Illumliroom in this lighting, I doubt it. Microsoft will sell this gimmick that will be fun for an hour or two until the gimmick wears off, and people find it too distracting from gameplay.
Now as for 4K tech. I live ...
Illumiroom, looks like it would be cool for about an hour, But who wants to have to play in the dark for full effect, and it looks way to distracting for real gameplay. If you are playing a FPS the last thing you need when having to think fast is something in the left hand corner of your living room distracting you from your target. Like I said It looks cool. No thank you though. That is one gimmick I will let my friends buy and use at their house.
Sony's new CEO said He would not let them sell at a loss anymore, not just for Playstation but all of their products. I am just telling you that is what he said. PS3 just started selling at a profit a few years ago.
It would be nice if PS4 could support 4000K, but At what cost? Is it going to make PS4 go up $100 to include the tech? I mean I don't know. I just bought a another new HD 55inch LED 240mhz. So its going to be a few years before I get another one. I have seen some really cool things that 4000k TVs can do on the news from CES and I had NO IDEA how cool they really are, but still $10,000 (they said on the news) for the least expensive.
Okay so if it projects onto your walls, How about in daylight, does your room have to be dark. I mean is this something that can be done in normal lighting. Not everyone wants to play games in the dark all of the time. It looks cool, but come on. At one point in time in the Video I thought the lights were on, they were not though.
I have not played this on Wii U, but I did love the game for PS3. I guess my question for this guys opinion is, I get his point about the framerate issues, taking away some points, but he repeatedly states how "great" the gamepad is acting as the bat computer and Not having the game pause(which I hate)so he said there were "just some framerate issues" does the gamepad part which he spoke so highly of not make up for that little flubs here and there. I just traded my BOPS2...
I guess you do not remember how REALLY crappy ports to the 360 were for the first 6 months. People can argue all they want, but its true. Go back and read the port reviews for the 360...MOST say rushed, and lots of issues....
3 million dollars turned into insurance. The effect of that is not just oh well, rates go up, premiums go up. If you drive a car and you have an accident, sure the insurance pays, but so do you in the long run. I am guessing you are young.
I mention Gearbox, because it is one developer that is making a FPS that has me excited to play on the Wii U because of what they have said about the gameplay with the gamepad, and they are one of the companies that tell me working on the Wii U is easy, can do more than current gen, Also Two Tribes and now Ubisoft are saying it as well.
