Well said, bubbled up
I mean graphics on consoles and pc split off sometime during the generation. Nobody knows the true potential of the new consoles, and some game is going to show that
Anti-consumerist policies, even Sony can't get away from it. Gamers should be in an uproar over this.
Sony needs to really put a focus on revamping the PSN. It is my largest concern with PlayStation consoles, and many people avoid the console for the service alone. Sony needs to deal with the troubles of the service
Me and my friends pick Xbox over PlayStation mostly because of the online service. We could have easily been PlayStation gamers if PSN was better. I barely ever played my PS3 online because of the service. It is the key flaw with Sony's consoles, and should be addressed by Sony
The jump in tech in the past few decades is truly stunning when compared to other mediums. Gaming is quickly becoming not only one of the best mediums of art, but could soon combine every form of art into one. I personally have always seen the future of gaming as VR, but not until conventional OLED and LCD displays are replaced by the tech like Magic Leap, using images essentially beamed into the eyes of the gamer, creating a more realistic 3D. Graphics get better, games get larger and more i...
Graphics matter. They can get a player more immersed, and as gamers it is only logical we demand the best that technology can bring us. However, consoles are not the best route to achieve some desires. To get 1080p everytime (and usually more), and get 60fps, a gaming PC is obviously the way to go. I feel as though the resolution debate came from fanboys trying to get their console of choice somewhat more justification for their own personal purchase. I myself am not a massive PC gamer, but I...
Its never a good thing. The reveals are suppose to be cinematic. The reveal itself gets people hyped, and games can always use more cinematic flair. Take the Zombies for COD AW. Finding out about that myself would have been amazing, but now its been revealed too early.
I didn't play much video games until Super Smash Bros. Melee, after that I've been a massive gamer. Smash Bros. Brawl was what got me checking video game news to find out the new characters, and from there I found gaming sites to check out
I'm talking about third party exclusives. Nobody benefits from that except those making a direct profit
Looks amazing, truly stunning. Will it look this good on consoles, is my only question
I had some hope for Sony, but I believe they too are anti-consumerist in nature now. Its sad, but maybe true. This seems like the PS+ delay is just to get people from trying the game out for themselves, and instead getting sales.
It certainly is
Lots of comments on the parity issue. My opinion on the issue is this: it should have been apparent to all gamers that devs would not make a habit at making one version significantly better on one piece of hardware. Consoles are not built for incredible graphics, thats what PCs are for, so the difference in resolution shouldn't be an issue. If you care, you would be better suited as a PC gamer
The PS+ version should just be the full game at this point
The nature of exclusives is rather terrible. Excluding a group of gamers from a game is simply anti-consumer policies. Just my opinion
The game was a major dissapointment for me, would never consider putting any money or time into it again. Regardless of adding more content, the game didn't have enough depth or variety in gameplay
I won't believe it till i see it. Last year was such a let down. Only games worth seeing were No Man's Sky and Dying Light
I can see it now:
A man stands in front of his television screaming at a box for pizza
It will be the pinnacle of human society
Dear God. What....is wrong with gamers. The PS4 Slim hasn't even been announced. This holiday season has just started. Game journalism isn't just broken, its non-existant. Idiotic writers spouting fanboyish drama to create a response from fanboys from both sides. Game journalism is gone, if it ever existed. See ya guys! I'm deleting my account. You are a bias community, no denying that, and as a Xbox gamer that can piss me off sometimes, but you still are arguably the most knowled...
