Unless you own your own cinema then its going to be simply impossible to differentiate anything above 7.1 infact the difference between 5.1 & 7.1 is unnoticeable as it is in an average sized room.

in all fairness the one thing most of the bad reviews have in common is they all seem to spend more time than they should discussing David Cage & how they find him pretentious - Which in itself is a good indication of how the review score will turn out.
a lot of gamers are a fickle bunch, they don't like people trying to portray ideas in their games.
Dude are you serious!? The February demo did show characters, & the walls were actually made of individual rocks instead of being almost flat & there was moisture & puddles & real time environmental lighting bloom & SSAO instead of the new static volumetric lighting.

What I can see though is a VERY clear difference between the original gameplay footage & the actual gameplay footage, I would presume it was a completely different game if I didn't know it.
No. No it really doesn't. To even claim that is pure craziness or you haven't actually watched the original footage. The difference is as clear as night & day, there's no blurred, is it?, isn't it?, lines. It looks like a entirely different game!

I seem to be seeing a hell of a lot of people choosing to completely forget that yes, the original now clearly 'CGI' clip shown in February was officially claimed to be running in real-time in game engine.

I'm not quite sure what your expecting but I think you'll probably be disappointed as currently those games 'almost' match a high end PC.

The graphics also actually look better than any of the promo stuff they released over the last year or so. So good that I keep having to remind myself its a game. It's crazy what they've managed to do with the practically antique PS3 hardware...
