720p is very, very poor by next gen standards no matter what way you look at it.
All it shows is greed from developers not wanting to put any effort into it until they have a guaranteed high user base. They want more consoles in homes first so they can get more money from day 1 sales instead of people picking it up later at a lowered price.
Aww thanks for that, really needed it, I would of been completely oblivious otherwise.
^^^ Something tells me someone knows nothing about what they speak of when it comes to CPU's & hardware...
Never seen so much bad grammar!
..Plus Rockstar spoke about this before they even released the game, nothing new.
:-)
Guys a hero of gaming!
No shit Sherlock!
If any game should be blamed for violence, then I completely agree it has to be this one, can we just leave it at that!
I'm not a fan of the fan boy comments either about PR damage control but at least his is based on at least some merit. Unlike pulling a statement out of thin air about The Order being 800p that's just a desperate pull at straws!
I really hope this is true and Ubi does actually man up!!
Maybe you should try actually playing it then...
There's currently rumours going around that the PS4 is the definitive version & is aiming for 1080p 60fps.
It's even got a tweet from Yoshida saying definitive version.
I hope its true!
I have to say I disagree with you. FIFA 14 plays more like old skool (good) PES than ever & PES hasn't had any positive change this year & no next-gen version is poor decision.
I think it actually sounds pretty good. I would be interested to see how it feels though.
You've got to remember that Valve have been researching & prototyping for almost 2 years & they did have a full prototype model but with analogue sticks instead but changed it for this so they obviously thought something worked better this way.
Because it's a difficult OS to use for the everyday consumer & is designed more for enthusiasts.
No matter how good it is & how much better it is than Windows the bottom line is it wont catch on. The reason being unfortunately is that the general population isn't very smart. So not only is there very little need to move on but no one will want to move on to a more cumbersome in some ways demanding OS.
There charging £45 for this on PSN store with the disclaimer its the same game just with updated rosters - That's ridiculous! £20 max & your still pushing it a lot at that price!
You can pick up 13 brand new for £13 so you would still be paying £7 for a roster update which is steep but at least its fair.
Wait, what!?
Is there a demo out??
A perfect example of how gameplay can win over graphics. Looks fun!
Downgrading promotional videos/trailers is part of development, whether its PC or console.
It's nothing new & common knowledge & will continue to happen. For a developer to claim it hasn't happened is bullshit I'm afraid, so the same goes for you if you believe the PC version will look the same as the initial footage shown.
So we're all liars are we Ubi??
... To even claim that when the difference is just that noticeable is insulting. Nice PR!
Ive heard very few developers claim the PS4 cannot reach 1080p 60fps..
