According to N4G that's the general consensus of how we are supposed to treat these things, yes.
...in reality though, common sense agrees with you!
Titanfall used completely uncompressed audio which is what took almost 40gb.
Seems to be what most developers are doing these days because it's so easy to put the original audio source material in, which is a bit of a cheap trick because in reality it makes very little difference but bulks the game up considerably to make it look like it contains more quality content & forces the customer to lose a lot of their system resources.
In the case of Diablo ...
Most definitely, this is what all remakes were like back in the day before all these developers started getting overly greedy & lazy!!
It's nice to see a developer with a bit more to them than just shipping a simple copy & paste port job. Spending their time improving it rather than spending all their time & resources with pure bs & marketing crap.
I just hope it fixes the mic issue. I havnt got the mic working once since release on my my PS headphones!
....Are you serious???
This is a game that has already been released once already 15 months ago & is now re-released as a 'remastered' version.
I suggest some people need to look up what is entailed by being 'remastered'!
I wonder where the die-hards are now, that still claim to this day that these issues are all made up...
I purchased it originally on the PS3 then followed up by buying the Season Pass. Then bought it again on PS4, I've already noticed the new mask pack is asking me to pay £8 despite the above.
I think ND's handling of the remaster in general has been disgusting on so many levels. I paid for the season pass with the acknowledgement that any further content released for the game I would receive for free for my PSN ID.
To an extent, yes it's techn...
They published the original HL.
Sierra. Wow that's a blast from the past, they were huge back in the day!
If you missed Sleeping dogs the first time around you should definitely pick this up. There's so much content & added DLC (which will be included free this time) in this & its a great game. All it needed was a slight tweak on the driving mechanics & it would of been perfect!
Really enjoyed almost everything in this game. Even saying this though if it's above £30 it's a no buy!
As @Letthewookiewin says, the mechanical click is the disk drive.
lol too complicated,... Really!!???
Haha if this article isn't flame-bait I don't know what is!
I agree with you, Carmack has seriously lost the plot over the last decade!
His comments regarding pretty much everything have been mindblowingly stupid for someone that is so talented!
Silly click bait article.
To be fair I've got to agree with you. We were told many lies prior to launch which is why I've now only got 2 bubbles left because I wouldn't let people forget or ignore them.
I am glad though that they have acknowledged these because at least some of them may get fixed. The fact that Corrinne Yu has said she knows about this & will learn from it in future is disgusting though I agree because she is one that fed us a lot of the crap prior to release, she'...
At least it's getting acknowledged. There's a lot of issues with the remastered version.
There's this pop-up issue, the occasional completely missing texture that just shimmers white. The lighting which occasionally decides it's going to change randomly (effect filter pop-in).
Then there's all the issues in multiplayer regarding stats, mic not working, the wrong team winning when the round ends & it clears all your kills(really annoyin...
Neither. I want new IP, it can be the same genre even the same gameplay. I dont mind but I want something fresh.
If I really had to pick out of these 2 though I'd have to go GoW.
It's not the best game ever but it's certainly a masterpiece, a top 5 for sure.
Wander looks interesting, but if anything, the others in the list gave me a stark realisation of just how bad the state of the industry is in at the moment!!
