Eurogamer strikes again, they've forced several developers into fixing issues. Fair play to them!
Just a quick question for my own curiosities sake but what the hell is "Brown noise"??
Nice way to make the article headline not only a statement but a question at the same time. Well done to you sir!
... You're angry because they used a real actor???
...Really???
IMO I think he fits the profile perfectly.
It cant just me that sees the main character as being a grown up Kai from Heavenly Sword?
I thought it was just a given but no one seems to have mentioned it at all.
They certainly did, there is absolutely no denying it. In fact Sony themselves as well as many retailers publicly acknowledged & accepted it.
My first 2 pads were sent back within a month of owning each one. My 3rd replacement however doesn't have a single mark on it & must be about 4-5 months old now so it's doing well.
That's why I was linking previous Silent hill's to Kojima work, the mixture of seriousness with silliness.
Yes Silent Hill was psychologically scary as well but to me it spoilt that fear with things like a monster with a pyramid for a head. To me that instantly removes the genuine fear whereas everybody knows there's nothing scarier than little girls!!
@TheOneWhoIsTornApart I think you read my comment wrong..
...and you, American I presume??
The thing that has most persuaded me lately is the console updates, They've really got me interested in it. It's got no killer games yet apart from Titanfall which I've already got on PC which surprised me after picking it up dirt cheap of how good it actually was.
I'm not a massive fan of Kojima, his mixture of seriousness with stupidity doesn't sit right with me. I want either 1 or the other, but this P.T. move was a stroke of genius!
I'm more of an original F.E.A.R, psychological horror fan than a silly monster with a pyramid for a head horror. P.T. at least certainly seemed directed more at the psychological side of that. Can't wait!!
I think the thing that makes it most scary is that we're just not used to that sort of photorealism in a horror game. Fair enough the ghosts etc aren't included in that but the environments add just as much to the scare as they do!
It's genuinely the first horror game that I've struggled to play & it's only a demo. Looking forward to seeing how the actual game pans out.
They certainly listened to their fans in the build up & hype of the release of the PS4. Unfortunately there has been no sign of them still listening since it has been released though.
Maybe they're just having a long holiday off the back of their success. I just hope we do see it return & we don't have to wait too long.
It's about time gaming moved on in the PC world.
They've been trying this on & off for years, they need to just stick with it. 64bit OS have been stable as a rock for years now & there's no more downside to them. It's time to finally move on & lets see what can actually be achieved on this platform!
There's a fine line between the mental stability of a fanboy but I do have to admit IMO ...
"Xbots" seem to be very naieve & ignorant about facts to the point where they will actually just make stuff up.
"Playpaupers" seem to be quite childish & instantly like to aggressively rage at anything they don't like & will stick by anything as long as it has a certain name on the label ignoring any faults.
PC &...
Now that is some good news!
Lol it's not a ridiculous notion when it's already past tense. If you listen to people who actually have the game then the second they started even talking about it on console, the development of the PC version suddenly stopped & there has been nothing released since.
It's pretty naieve to just ignore that fact.
Someone either really needs to get a life or some medical attention!!
I can see why people would be annoyed & I don't see what's so hard to understand about that!?
Day Z has a massive PC backing & user base that has forked out £20-30 for a game that's still in it's Alpha & the developer seems to have completely given up on it so it can go & start again on a different platform before going back & finishing it on PC.
If people feel betrayed then that's pretty reasonable to me.
Now compare these screenshots to the actual real gameplay footage that has been released....
Have to agree, I watched this yesterday & presumed it was the console version, I still think that they've got it wrong & it is console version.
To me, knowing what the Dev is capable of, owning their previous games on PC & seeing the footage they have released prior to this. I think they've got confused there's no chance it's PC version as it doesn't even match Witcher 2 on ultra settings & not close to any previous footage we've seen. ...
