My last 2-3 cards were all MSI & past couple of motherboards too. I've been happy with them but my current GTX760 card doesn't overclock well at all. Despite the general consensus of the media all claiming it overclocked extremely well. I'm considering giving Zotec another go with the GTX1060 after how great my Zotec GTX560Ti was.
This one does sound good though.
When it comes to YouTubers I have no idea what the fascination is with these kids these days. It's a strange world we live in now & it only seems to be getting stranger.
I'm not one for sucking up to people, especially when it comes to Sony or Microsoft. I have to say tho that Adam Boyes was very good at what he did & an extremely likable & friendly face of Sony. They will miss him when it comes to the public facing side of the business.
I don't understand the article. Why is Valve to blame for any of this. I've read the article, I understand what their gripes are but what does valve have to do with it...?
...and that means Sony can't make one???
Nothing about the description indicates that it has to be something special or groundbreaking. It's clearly not anything for VR like people are suggesting.
Last card I had from the red team was the Radeon 9700 Pro which you could force flash with a custom firmware to unlock the additional memory & up clock the cores which was cut to meet production. Which basically made it beat their top tier card in benchmarks.
Haven't heard anything about this being applicable to the RX480 & it would seem an odd ratio to be true so I'm not convinced. My card didn't last all to long either but it was ATI/AMD so they never ...
@lennox when it tried to make maps smaller trying to move it all in doors & close quarters... And yes, more run & gun. Breaking away from the gameplay of the originals into the modern day high tempo ADHD generation.
Pretty self explanatory that it's just a simple proprietary Bluetooth adaptor for PC to allow full integration with DS4 & other peripherals etc...
Other than laptops not many desktops have Bluetooth or any need for it. So are having to use wired DS4's. I'll pick one up if it's cheap enough.
That's the whole point of Battlefield or was until recently. It's about thinking, positioning, teamwork & skill. Then it tried to go down the COD route. Now it looks like it's returning to its former glory. Happy days!
Because being able to use it alongside my PC & cross play essentially making my PC mobile or my Xbox a high spec PC is a massive selling point.
I have a steam link which I bought for a similar reason but it's just not good enough. Not fluid. Each update tends to break it more & more. Everything needs so much tinkering to work ok. I'm just a little fed up of it.
It's gone from my most anticipated game to one I don't particularly care for after their terrible E3 showing. Seems I'm not the only one who thinks the same. Whoever thought they shown progression in development since the original reveal needs the sack!
A lot of people more than willing to openly show their ignorance & stupidity on here. Forward thinking, this is a great move. Now do I eventually take the plunge & get an XBone S or wait for Scorpio? It's definitely pushed me into buying one of their consoles either way so it's worked.
That's my problem. The sub £200 GTX970 is cheaper than the £215-£230 RX480 & also currently outperforms it on pretty much every real world gaming benchmark. Although it only has half of the VRAM & we've not seen what kind of real impact dx12 will have. The 970 seems to also beat the 480 in Ashes of Singularity.
I'm starting to see sub £200 GTX970. So to me that still seems to be the better option but I'm still on the fence at the moment & considering dropping the cash on one very soon. Just need to finally decide which side to go for.
10 pages worth of game titles. Eurgh can someone just list them on 1 page!?
Think I'm going to take the plunge for MGSV at £16
...Triple-A??
Got to continue to delay it until the cloud can actually produce what was promised & already "shown in real time".
It's also very similar to Die Hard 2 & thousands of other films. Maybe we should hold all entertainment accountable for the evil in the world....
ID Software have always been against Direct X & Microsoft as a foundation & they've always been the front runner in OpenGL. Competition wise they've been a savour to the industry as a whole but whether it still good enough is questionable at this stage.
At least they're still trying to fight for something they believe in though.
