I've just recently bought a GTX 1060 which I'm pretty disappointed with overall as well.
Should of just held off & I would of been happier putting it towards the Neo instead.

I hadn't even thought about my AV receiver. So not only have I wasted £800 on a TV I only bought last year but also the £600 I spent on the AV receiver last year too :-( just my luck!
It certainly wasn't a disaster, I didn't even find it boring either. What got me was how horrible & tediously scripted the whole thing was.

If PS5 arrives less than a year & a half after the PS4 Pro then I simply won't buy it & I'll stop buying PlayStation products altogether. Simple as that really.

4K Blu-Ray will come with firmware upgrade, just like original PS3 did with its Blu-Ray back in the day.
Why would you 'require' a 4K tv to use the Neo?
1) most devs I seen have all stated they will be making big improvements in assets at 1080p
2) it's also not native but up scaled 4K. its also been said it has DSR technology so although it will still only be displaying for most at 1080p it should have far better AA techniques & crisper image.
I don't have a 4K tv & actually have no intention on buying one even tho...
PS4 Pro is a day 1 purchase for me but my god what an awful cringeworthy scripted event this is.
Despite how good the games look I'm really struggling to watch it because of the horribly scripted interviews. It's soo cheesy. No one talks like that in real life please stop!!
