I completely agree. There's something clearly not right with the low scores. Everybody I know that has played the game properly seems to be pretty amazed at the low scores.

I'd say about 1/3 of my family are Irish I know exactly what I'm talking about. If you find the smallest mission of stealing cars in a gang crime based computer game for the IRA upsets you more than the actual content of what the game is about, then that would say a lot more about you than anything else.
Maybe take your own advice & educate yourself about how vastly widespread and brutal racism & segregation was. More importantly how openly accepted it was. ...

I would assume that it is having performance issues on some system setups like all games do but it runs at 1080p 60fps on mine. Again some of the graphics, animation & especially lighting is some of the best I've seen but the art direction can make you question it at times. There's certainly some amazing little touches though that I've noticed in my 6-7 hours playtime. I'm really not quite understanding the repetitive comments either but there's that many missions link...
I really don't understand what peoples problem is with this game? I went in extremely cautiously, in fact expecting the worst after the embargo. I was pleasantly surprised at first but then I felt the game just got better & better. I think in my opinion it's actually easily one of the better games I've played this year. I'm playing on PC as well so I really don't know how someone like PCGamer could give it a 54/100!?
WOW! I didn't quite realise you would have to lower the fidelity to PSVita quality in order to play proper games on VR.
I was on the fence before, in fact no I was still not a massive fan of VR although I was eager to be persuaded. This has not helped at all. It looks like the systems are clearly still not ready for decent VR capabilities. Lets hope there's an improvement on the PSPro.

Yes but you've been able to pick up Duke inc. Atomic ED as well as what ever the other one was. Which came to over 40 levels & that's been under £5 or a couple of bucks for the past decade.

I can't speak for the console versions as I've only played on PC. It's absolutely not a "technical mess" by any means though. It has minor issues like any other game.
In the 5 hours I've played I've had 1 system crash & 1 car that wouldn't start & that's it. Fair enough before the patch it was only 30fps & UI writing was blurry but that's it. I'd actually consider that a pretty good launch state for a game these days...
Mafia 3 is literally a million times better than NMS. Don't listen to this review it's complete BS.

That's odd that's the exact same car that wouldn't start for me. I just got out after a while of trying then got back in & it worked on the 2nd turnover I think.
The more I play the game the more I like. I keep noticing things & thinking wow that's pretty awesome. The lighting & animations are some of the best I've seen in some instances.

I've heard from people who claim to have them that it's a regrettable purchase as the lag during gaming makes it literally unplayable. I also know from personal experience of other Samsung models that my sister owns which looks truly stunning for film but once I hooked up Destiny although it looked amazing the input lag was so high I actually believed it was broken. So I wouldn't be so quick to claim it's fake as an awful lot of people seem to be saying the same.
I agree with what your saying I'm not saying others can't have issues. What I specifically said was that there's a huge portion of people claiming it is simply impossible to achieve even 1080p 60fps no matter how top spec your rig is. Simply saying there's a lot of BS being spread about the game.
I'm not a COD fan, well I haven't been for a long, long time. I would actually buy COD 4 remastered though & it would have to be below £25 but I would definitely buy it. Which is more than I can say for any other recent COD game. Black Ops 1 was the last COD I bought.
