If it helps anyone though. In fairness I have a Sony TV & Yamaha Soundbar & im not having any issues.
I think I can maybe see a slight difference in TLOU possibly, maybe wishful thinking though. Haven't played it in ages so I couldn't be sure but it does look like a very clean image. Apart from that I can't say ive really noticed any difference in anything else, loading times, stability etc seem exactly the same.
The only reason I say that is that every single LG TV I have had any experience with. Which has been I would say between 10-15. Have had very serious issues or completely died within 2-3 years. All of them bar none!
When it comes to TV's I would only ever go for Sony, Panasonic or Samsung. I wouldn't touch anything else. Even then you have to do proper research on them because they all have the odd terrible models no matter which brand you go for. I just find LG ter...

If you have a 4K TV with HDR then yes absolutely. I see no reason why you wouldn't want to.
If you like me only have a 1080p TV then no don't buy it. I fell for the better 1080p graphics, improved stability, faster UI & load times, PR BS. Now I feel like an idiot for rebuying a more expensive version of something I already have.
I'm just saying I've played 10+ hours on PC & haven't had any real problems or found it repetitive. Yet the general consensus from N4G is it's a completely broken mess that is so repetitive that you'll struggle to make it through the first hour before getting bored or frustrated by it.
