Hell I'd even consider buying it if the console was themed. I wouldn't use it, but I'd buy it.
Compared to XBL Gold? No. They're both objectively total ripoffs, though.
Super Meat Boy? What year is it?
Sony always manages to outdo themselves with their terrible offerings.
It's a good weapon in the struggle against remasters.
The fact that, by Microsoft's own admission via early press release, this game was stated as multiplatform before they swooped it up into timed exclusivity makes everyone involved look bad. They tried to hide that fact afterward, even playing around with the word "holiday" to make it seem like it wasn't coming to other platforms at all, and it just made them look even worse.
I bought Tomb Raider on PC day-1. I even paid $60 for the definitive edition on PS4....
You guys keep appealing to other garbage to distract from this pile of garbage. Something else being bad doesn't excuse this from being bad. That's just double the garbage.
Paying for sales. What a time to be alive.
Story of my life as a PS4 owner. Console subs are the worst money sink. Renting indie titles and paying to use your own internet for online gaming for $50/year. I hear on bone you get to at least keep those bad games when your sub is up though, right? So I guess it's not exactly like Sony's rental scam.
If it had games I wanted to play that I couldn't play anywhere else, I would have kept it. Simple as that.
It definitely played a part in my decision to sell the one I got with that crazy Best Buy TV + Bone combo.
Unpopular opinion, but I loved Fable 2 and 3. Would really like a 4. Legends looks pretty lousy.
"i wish i had such trivial crap to be angry at when i was a kid."
My time on the internet in a nut shell.
I washed my hands of Amiibos after buying 18 of them. Sold them all except for my Little Mac. Not gonna play Nintendo's game of artificial supply constraints.
If Microsoft is jumping into the fray, I hope they don't pull the same crap.
By that logic, CoD isn't out every year either since it's different developers swapping back and forth.
The mentally stunted nature of Forza fans as displayed by the challenged replies below is so bizarre. It's like an aggressive subset of an already disadvantaged species. Facts and logic have no meaning. PR is trusted over one's own presumably-functioning eyeballs.
Couple Xboners on my Steam friends list sent me some comparisons between Forza 6 and Driveclub just the other day, and I was honestly pretty surprised at how much better Driveclub still looks. Thought Turn 10 would have at least matched them by now. Maybe that's just one of the side effects of churning out a yearly title. You get on that Madden/Ass Creed/CoD schedule and your game barely changes per iteration.
@jholden - I also owned Super Mario 3D World, Zombi U, Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze, Zelda Wind Waker, Pikmin 3, Toad's Treasure Tracker, Mario Kart 8, Smash Bros, and The Wonderful 101.
Toad's Treasure Tracker was my 2nd favorite. I got more enjoyment out of that game and Bayonetta 2 than the rest combined. Sold my Wii U after E3 this year, and reading something about Miyamoto discussing why the console failed. Red flags up, ship abandoned. It was kind of fun while it...
Dunno why you get so moist at the thought of nobody being able to play this game.
It's undoubtedly the best game I owned for the Wii U, and I wish more of its fans who played the original on 360 and PS3 had access to it. Not everybody can afford to dump $300 on a console for one game like me. Let them play, bro.
Wrote some pretty good Mass Effect novels. Too bad they killed it with that other guy on the 4th book.
Anything to try to slow PS4 sales.
"Yeah guys, they're totally dropping the price soon."
C'mon son. Mind your own console's price. How many price drops since launch and the thing still trails month-to-month globally like a lead balloon?
Eh, he's not as great as he used to be. When he made that SJW turn, he kinda lost his edge. He also does a podcast with that tranny who fabricated a story about being trans-hated or whatever on stage at a Microsoft conference. Completely made up a scenario in which she was mocked on stage and went around social media in search of oppression points. Bizarre.
I still keep him on my list of Steam curators to follow, since I like his taste in games more often than not, but hi...
