That the people who have received a PS3 have nothing or minimal things to complain about, it's usually the other way around, praises and alot of respect and some even coming around from hating the price scheme to understanding it. That my fellow bloggers says alot. No apathy coming from those who have played it.
We can't speak in extreme and definite terms but I have to agree with Shadow on this one.
Most people who have PS2 didnt really have a great online experience. When Live came about that was the only option, people enjoyed it, and went out and got themselves an xbox, you know there are many of those around..
I would say that a few people that hate Live only hated it because they get their arses handed to them or because of all the 12year olds screaming and sayin...

You spoke out your bum because, for one MS is not a PC vendor, they make money off licenses. Sony pays MS for XP licenses. If anything Sony is competing with Dell.
Before you want to accomplish making Sony look like ish' formulate a factual argument...

they've had plenty of lead and apathetic results.. Perhaps an extra few months will do them justice.
But I say this because there are websites out there that do, I hope you can agree with that.
However it's really hard to believe that the final product will require you to use 5Gigs of your HD. I dont think we have the whole story. I mean it's racing Game, If it were an MMO I'd understand. Also, you dont hear other games using this much space. I think somethings off with this story.

That the game isnt out yet? Is the game gold? NO, its in Debug, which means you have to work with it from the hard drive... to play it. Doy!!! Of course sites aren't going to mention that because they all want to see the PS3 in the dirt.
If not, that may be a reason why it's only 23$

Yeah Blade the PS3 OS is locked so you can't install anything on it - I'm sure it'll support many media formats so you wont have to install anything for the web browsing aspect.
As for installing programs games, get the linux yellow dog, (I'm sure a User's edition will be out in a few months) so you can install games and whatever you want.
