There you go, anti-COD kiddies all over the page! that same immature, illogical, incomprehensible anti-COD argument just keeps on coming.
Really? I'm pretty sure I was playing gears 3 multiplayer using the preorder freebie Commando DOM character and somehow managed to reach level 50 without finishing yet the campaign. "Close quarters" is where most of the deciding kill firefight happens and rarely on medium range is what I mean. There are wider open maps but there are also plenty of cover, but the thing is most of the killing is still done close range (and using any shotguns).
the double posting is an accidental post.
The gears multiplayer is still an all shotgun affair. Most maps are close quarters and it's pointless to spray someone with a lancer only to be met by a deadly single shotgun shot. Epic should increase the damage of assault rifles so that this game would really be a shoot out and not to lunge a player for that shotgun kill.
"They added prone. This promotes camping, and camping belongs where it still is, in Call of duty.'
> What? are you blind? BF3 is all about camping. Teams on defensive position camp all day.
I could tell who the cod players were in the beta.
> Really?, can you also tell the gears players in the beta? K/D ratio forces a player to play better, instead of blindly rushing in to secure the objective because nobody would care how many times a player...
This won't be possible in the Metro map, coz the tanks would be tunneling and burrowing underground.
"The issues in it (which is the point of a beta) have been fixed for the retail final product". I take it that the final retail product is out and you have played it...in your dreams. The tweaks that need fixing are those from the feedback of the beta and with only like 2 weeks left, these fixes need to be retested and recertified and doesn't affect/change any other components of the game. If DICE is doing this months before Oct 25, yeah I would agree with your optimism.
COD actually made video gaming the biggest entertainment industry, and created the first multibillion dollar franchise. It has not ruined it obviously but simply made it MASSIVE.
Let's wait what Respawn can come up shall we? This might be the next big thing and hell yeah, it's about time.
No anti-COD comment yet? I'm waiting for those BF fanboys who will say the same thing against COD over and over because that's what kids do.
COD Elite the free version offers more than Battlelog not even considering the easier more user friendly interface. It makes sense because another developer studio (Beachhead) was tasked to do this job.
i agree with the knife thing, coz in COD you can knife and kill in every direction while in BF3 you must be behind the poor dude and he must not be moving.
I totally agree, BF offers another dimension in a firefight and that is UNDERGROUND!
This game is really coming late and unpolished. At this stage DICE is still tweaking a lot of components of the game that would only mean one hell of a chaos come release time.
The beauty of the overpowered weapons (ump and sniper), the line of sight use machine gun modern fighter jets, happy campers waiting to pounce, hide in corners waiting to pounce, terrible hit detection. But I can't find the beauty of them all, where is the underground firefight?
No, your comment actually makes you the real Justin Bieber.
Another never heard of website trying to get a share of an audience. The composition of the article is so bad you wonder why these kind of articles are even picked up. Pick another career you low rate writer because you are not cut to do this job.
I'll stick to the sniper class and crawl my way all over the map to find the sink holes and pave the way for the underground firefight. Air, on ground and below ground fighting would make BF3 complete.
BF3 is really following COD, as the UMP is a bit overpowered and overused in MW2.
yeah, i've already seen one in the beta, that crawling slug soldier is a must!
