for real, chitowns no joke this days lol..
im american and can vouch were all a bunch of a**holes.
i dont mind always online for games that NEED it, nor do i mind digital retail. i prefer certain games as digital downloads out of convenience of not having to swap discs. what i dont like is the idea of not being able to play single player games offline, that absolutely needs to remain unaffected, or else why would i buy any games if i dont really "own" them outside of the digital space, or have a constant way of playing them? its not practical at all to have all games tied to onli...
you clearly have no idea what you are talking about. if gamers care about power and the latest hardware, YOU BUY A PC. please stop bashing video game systems just because you game for the wrong reasons. all gaming systems have there strengths and weaknesses all aiming at different experiences. stop being a troll.
im holding out for the price drop; one because i don't want to spend $350, two because there are no games for the Wii U besides old ports. announce first party games and a price drop and im in!
as a long time gamer, my sentiment is the same. i hope for a good crash to set the industry back on the right path.
eh, i personally only play big titles im interested in like JRPG's, Western RPG's, and new IP's. other than that, i do not have the time or patience to play all the other console games that release year round. but i do have time to play games like Trials Evolution, Journey, Black Swan, etc. graphics don't mean much to me, so as long as its fun and i can play it with my friends thats what i care about. im sure big budget AAA games aren't going anywhere but i have definitely...
games like this typically do go more accessible for appeal reasons, but at the same time usually offer a "hardcore" mode that likens back to the original unforgiving gameplay.
i'd buy that and play 3ds games on it, although it'd most likely sit on my coffee table.
a price drop is unlikely, i think itll have a better outing than the gamecube but definitely not as good as the wii. itll be fine once the first party games roll in.
well its going to add complete transparency for gamers and game developers. you can advertise and hype a game all you want, but when i can sit and watch someone play it or try it out for myself. im no longer as reliant on reviews or even friends opinions.
so because i think the two consoles will go after different audiences this time around im a fan boy? where in my post did i say one is more powerful than the other or anything regarding one system having features the other didnt? please tell me, you wanted to see a fan boy where there isn't one.
i thought it was understood both Sony and Microsoft are taking two separate paths to be successful next generation.
Sony is going after the primarily gaming only crowd, while introducing social features to integrate its games into everyday life making "social gamers" out of all of us. Sony still plans on offering media and apps but this will all revolve around gaming is first and central, the philosophy they outlined at the reveal.
Microsoft is cont...
