Well, you're asking for a reason. I don't know. I've never had a chance to see it on Xbox since it doesn't exist in my country, but I've heard about it and my friend and I were eagerly awaiting it to come for PC. We have installed it on work, where we mostly played LAN Unreal turnament, often managers VS designers(graphic) (My friend and I were in the design team). But when we've seen it, and played it, it just didn't catch us. Nor any of the managers. I don't know why.
your sexy Xbox360 was hacked when it had the install base the size of the PS3base now. Maybe even sooner. All you had to do is fash your DVD drive. Not anything harder than flashing the ordinary DVD drive for a common PC. The PS3 hackers actually have a very hard time doing it.
Anyway, I hope they hack it soon because a hacked machine is way better and more capable than the closed one. Imagine the possibilities of custom PS3 firmware! A firmware that needs no patent and other l...
what I really don't understand is that those xboxkings sound as if they're happy that Sony is "screwed" by pirates. Like it's a 1:0 for Xbox. Like they don't know that you can already play pirated games on the Xbox for a long time.
So, if anyone is screwed, that's every other console than PS3, because it's the only console that you can't run pirated games on.
Anyway, pirating is hardly screwing. Pirates help drive hardware sales and expand the base for ...
Well, too bad! I like dragons. And I was hoping this would be like Ace Combat (that comment about those long and wide turns did remind me of AceCombat. I didn't find that a bad thing)
Anyway, TIME LIMIT?! No way am I playing this game EVER!
Please devs, no time limits. Time limits are okay in mini games and occasionally as a spice.
"edit: Mr. Phsych major: I would also like to read about the need for people (esp. many gamers or other enthusiasts) to create a diversion or distraction from their boring lives, hence getting all wrapped up in the drama on a video game website. That would make an interesting read as well."
One thing I can't understand. Why do you people talk about Internet like it's not a life? I mean, saying that someone spe...
Well, the world would be a boring place without passion, for sure! Everyone is a fanboy for something. Even those people who brag about having lives are fanboys, you know the type, they just keep shouting "get a life, get a life" while bragging abot having beautiful girlfriends and children, knowning where clitoris is etc... If they really were happy with their so called life, they wouldn't brag about it to us who love technology more than humans.
Hmmm, yes, it's insecurity with children/spouses too. Sad that so many people (almost everyone I know) are so insecure about their children and spouses. But I guess it's normal.
As for MS and Hitler, it was the analogy referring to supporting someone's "way". Not that I think MS is as bad as Hitler. I just couldn't find something more appropriate for that analogy. I mean, he is a supervillain of our age, right? Like, Darth Vader.
Well, most people can't keep beeing objective when it comes to their children, relatives or friends. I don't see a difference. When you have a kid, you like to think he's the best kid in the world, because he's carrying half of your genes and half of the genes that were your choice (eg. wife). So we could say that people are affraid that their choice was wrong so their kids are not the best in the world.
My point is...every time we choose something, whether it is a console or a...
sjappie, I have a feeling that your expectations are too high. It's not even a year since it came to the shelves. Not to mention Europe.
Maybe you should just settle with X360 and forget about PS3. It will never be as good as you expect it to be. Not because it's a bad machine, but because your expectations will always be high.
We've seen it all before. First the price is wrong, then there are no games, then even when the price comes down and games are coming the...
At least try to be funny when posting a fanboy comment sak500. You're boring and uncreative. Look at g4n and BillGates, they're actually fun to read! Unlike nasim, larry, mart and yourself.
for me and my friends too! We're all graphics artists, comic book artists, architects, 3D artists and we always wanted to do a simple video game together. The problem was neither one of us knows how to program a game.
So I think LBP will satisfy our creative thirst for level/game design at least for a bit!
It's simple enough and you don't have to leave your job in order to learn to make a simple level.
The more so that it's multiplayer, we can do it toget...
