Shame it won't look great on anything else. Not complaining, just ... complaining. The world has enough exclusives. People should be able to buy the hardware on it's own merits, content shouldn't be taken hostage.
I mean what would you think if Batman Arkham series became or was an exclusive?
Also, although this is a bit of a big fuss for very minimal footage, the game still looks freakin' awesome.
Colorado, huh? Interesting choice after so many exotic locations, but I'll interested to see how it plays out.
These are some truly amazing photos ...
That is one awesome statue. Man I want it.
I kinda see what you're getting at, and I can see how many people can play it for more than 50 hours because it's kinda addictive, but I don't think it's any kind of excuse to get a refund. Not to mention many people will get a refund, wait 'til the price drops to 20$, and buy it again with a free DLC.
Finally! Somebody who shares my opinion!
I can't even be bothered to say anything about this anymore. I wrote a comment defending the game once because personally I enjoyed playing it and thought it was awesome (and it was what I expected), and I got so much sh*t for it it made me wanna quit this damn site. I mean what the f*ck? People are creating accounts just to troll about this sh*t!
*cough* m4g1c14n *cough*
Seriously, I kinda get people wanting a refund now but jesus some people are REALLY going over the t...
*Groan* Godammit leave it be. How old are you? I tell you I defended the game like once because I personally enjoyed playing it and I got so much sh*t for it that it made me wanna quit this f*cking site. I mean what the f*ck man?
No, they weren't lied to. Or rather they were, but they blew things out of proportion. Sean Murray has mentioned the presence of things that weren't there, but that's all he did: 'mentioned, once or twice'. People just got on the hype train and believed any rumors they heard, or read the headlines. There were gameplay videos, there was information, what you make of that is your problem. Do research before you buy a game, even if said game is gonna be a historical first. Pe...
I'd pay for that.
Not at all. The technology is already here, it just needs marketing. And if stuff like this is successful, then it'll be on the shelves in the next 10 years ...
Agreed. At that point it would just be people taking advantage of the situation.
Good comparison. Also, I reckon people wildly overestimate the price of a pc. Sure. At the beginning, you're gonna spend more money than you would on the console, though not as much as you might think. I bought specless pc, bought a GTX 970, and that's enough to run nearly all games nowadays at 60fps at ultra. I got the card for about 300€, and the pc for about 400€, and a PCU on top of that for around 50€. So yes, twice as expensive as a console. But I can get most games for cheaper....
Exactly. They're both space sims where you can explore and that's about it ...
Well not really no. It was basically made by 8 people.
I agree with you it's ridiculous, but it makes money. They won't stop unless people stop buying it. It also doesn't make me feel so bad about having a pc. It's more expensive to buy at the beginning, but multiplayer's free and you can get games for cheaper (and you can always upgrade individual component's instead of having to buy a whole new pc).
I don't believe this is the case. Say what you want about No Man's Sky, but I reckon the hype did most of the talking, and it delivered exactly what it promised. It created a procedurally generated universe with 18 quintillion planets. Star Citizen is a different game. It had money invested in it too.
Yeah I agree (although it has been done before). Mind you, it would be even better in No Man's Sky (I'm compiling a list of stuff to add to the game) ...
Are these genuine stats? Or maybe it's just at one given time, instead of throughout the day. I reckon these aren't real figures, because they're simply too big. I doubt so many players would lose interest and give up on the game at this point, two weeks after release ...
Correction: Content GOES where the developer of said content is PAID to make it available. Developers are people who want everybody to play their games. Isn't that why they're developed?
Look mate, I know there's no point complaining, but it's important for people to know that just because people are taking the sh*t, it doesn't mean we have to like it. If Quantum Break was *through my teeth* an alright game, then wouldn't you want it? I fully understand that w...
