I think it is time for us to stop comparing these two franchises. They've just been drifting apart and becoming more and more different over the years. Battlefield is a game about big scale warfare. Big maps, vehicles, an important team objective, and overall large destruction and tactical teamwork. Call of Duty is a game about fast paced FPS combat. Small maps, lots of speed, every man to himself to a certain extent, and overall arcady shoot and go gameplay ...
Obviously there a...
Great to hear some good news for once! Can't wait to find out more ...
Great tips! Can't wait to play more!
Looks interesting. Worth a closer look ...
I don't get how it's 'Better than it has a right to be ...'. It looks surprisingly good though. I would however would rather they'd spent the money on a bigger game, seeing how much potential it has. Hell if Rocksteady did something like that, it would be amazing. It's unlikely though ...
This does look good, but I'm not gonna lie. The graphics are vastly underwhelming, and it I'm not a great fan on the filter (if it is in fact in the game ...)
I think it's feasible that they make an ok game, even a good one, but only if they admit that they're gonna have to go down a different road. If they try and replicate Kojima, they're just gonna crash and burn ...
You get that haters? PLAY SOMETHING ELSE! Dammit, I'm so sick of people complaining about the game. If you don't like it, don't play it! Anyway, what I'd love to see in the future is the ability to customize a larger ship, filling it with your favorite plants and pictures from your travels. And even pets!
This is definitely impressive. I don't really wanna have to compare it with No Man's Sky, and I honestly think there are some major differences anyways (like for instance the Universe in this isn't virtually friggin' infinite). I don't think I know enough about it, but I'd definitely pick No Man's Sky over this though. It just seems more attractive for me. Not to say it couldn't be better. Like SaveFerris said, they could have achieved quite a bit more with som...
Well, good to know somebody's at least trying to get gamers of their ass. Mind you though, why be Nathan Drake when you could be BATMAN!
I think people are just really just quoting him out of context and trying to spin a major story out of nothing. He never promised a rich in content multiplayer, and he didn't showcase or market the game as one either.
What the hell man? A. He didn't exactly lie to our faces. He never mentioned there being massive amounts of multiplayer content, and the only real thing missing here is not being able to see anybody else. Not to mention he clarified that it would be highly unlikely that anybody met anybody on a regular basis anyway.
B. Where does all the hate come from? This guy murder your gran? I don't wanna have to say this, but the main haters don't tend to include 'I played this ...
It's great people are finally doing this. I think too many (mostly pretentious) people dismiss video games as simply being virtual children's toys, but the truth is, even if you deny that they can be artistic or tell a compelling story in any way, they represent massive advances in simulation technology. And that can extend to many other more practical uses. It's not only museums that can use this, but schools and tv too. In general, I believe that videogames should insert some mo...
I was hoping this would be a good feature and wondered how it would work. Can't wait to come home and get myself a copy of the game!
Dammit people. He never really 'lied' to us. He's never pretended that players would ever meet each other. In fact I expressly remember him saying that it was unlikely anybody would meet anybody due to the Universe's massive size. He never said there would be ANY online features, and the only thing people weren't expecting was for other players to be invisible. That's all. It's not fair for people to act like he's been saying that there was multiplayer interact...
'How do I turn on Dark Mode?' Is one that's puzzled me for quite a while.
'
Nice! Shame we don't get more positivity in general these months. It's all been doom and gloom ...
I'm a great fan of this type of game, though I have to say I sometimes come across a completely other type of game with amazing location design, and I think: 'Wow I wish I could explore this a little more intimately ...'. I mean no offense to the awesome WS already out there, but they despite the fact that you're supposed to just walk and look, there's not very much that's particularly amazing to look at. Like imagine for instance walking around the world of Alice Madn...
Nice. Can't wait to find out more though, as it's mostly speculation at this point.
