Someone at EA needs to be held accountable for this sorry excuse for a football game. I think they should just take next year off to refine the game to near perfection. Not everyone will be downloading the game. A lot of people will be buying retail as well and i'm sure in the first few hours available it might be a little slow but after that things will be fine.
...although I'll still be getting an XBox once they do the die shrink and Halo 3 with Bioshock and Mass Effect. I am looking forward to those games so much though!

My point is that they left out a lot of details in the game that should have been included and they should be spending as much time on the game to make it as realistic as possible. Such details as nets behind goalposts SHOULD be in the game because that's whats in a real football game. It's not that the PS3 is a better console. That has nothing to do with it. It's the fact that EA should have made it with the same framerate. If both versions had the same framerate and the XBox360 version was better, then so be it. But I don't think they should have even bothered releasing such a gimped version for the PS3. EA Sports is really pathetic. "If it's in the game, it's not in our game" should be their new slogan! They don't include the nets behind the goalposts and other details are left out. I agree that the Xbox360 should have included the player. That would have been a strong selling point for me. I am still going to get one when the 65nm chip is in them though.
Standard def. DVDs will continue to rule because people don't have to have a certain player to watch a certain movie and the price point is lower. Plain and simple. Until these players come down in price to $100 or less and the DVDs match the standard DVD price, there's no point in choosing either format and standard def. You obviously don't know much about the game. When your shoot or throw objects you see them from the first person point of view until they hit their target. This alone mixed up the gameplay, along with puzzles and not to mention the immersive cut scenes and hundereds of enemies players will have to battle.
