This is an option that comes with every laptop and should be standard on any device that connects to the internet these days. Microsoft just wants to rape people by charging an extra $100 for a proprietary add-on when they could very well include it easily. Few customers realize that they could buy a wireless adapter for cheaper, but it still sucks that Microsoft overcharges so much for theirs (and every other proprietary add-on...$80 for 20GB HD? you've gotta be kidding me!)
Tell them do hook them up...they come with wi-fi...they should update their firmware periodically at least.
why would someone want to do this...it's probably less time consuming to buy a new controller...
...it may be a bit generous but it's a great game to play on the PS3...those other games will be here before you know it. I think that uncharted will be a killer app and so will ratchet and clank.
...a Premium with HDMI and it runs just a little warm, but not ridiculously hot. I got an extended warranty with it just in case though. So far i like it but I am still concerned years down the road that the hardware will fail, but I'm enjoying it.

I own both machines now. Pick whatever machine you like and play your games on that machine. If you can afford both machines, get them. Simple.
I actually got my xbox360 today and i got bioshock. I respect people who play both systems and i'm into all kinds of games. I just think it's unfair how people automatically discredit the game because it doesnt have multi-player. Not every great game has to have multi-player. I will enjoy both games without multi-player. The keyword you said was "locally" if you were at a friend's house or took your XBox360 elsewhere, you would not have access to your music or files that are on your home PC.

I just think the $50 is a little steep. I realize that it does in fact make sense for you with your friend in the US to talk over that rather then the phone.
I think they should decrease the price to about $25. $50 is quite a bit and by November people (who bought it at launch) would already be paying $100. If people keep their Xbox360 for 4 years (from launch) it will equel the price of the PS3.

You obviously don't know much about the game. When your shoot or throw objects you see them from the first person point of view until they hit their target. This alone mixed up the gameplay, along with puzzles and not to mention the immersive cut scenes and hundereds of enemies players will have to battle. I said that few people realize that you don't have to buy the proprietary MS wireless adapter. It may be preferable for you to have a wired connection, but like I said above, it's not always convienent for EVERYONE to use a wired connection all the time. Like I said, I use my wireless on both devices and my laptop and my conncections are excellent.
