Considering that Planetside 2 is an MMO, it's probably 100X the size of Halo 4, or some absurd number like that. It looks pretty damn nice for what it is.

You're aware you can build your own PC for the price of a mid-range one that would play most games on high or max settings, right? To say you'd buy a mid range one is the same as saying "I think I'll pay more money for something that is worse".
And you don't see Uncharted running on PC because Naughty Dog and the IP are owned by Sony/Playstation. Why is it that games like Crysis (the graphical benchmark) look amazing an...
Person makes one comment. "YOU CLEARLY HAVE NO CLEAR VIEW ON MORALITY".
Sometimes I wonder about people like you.
Suppose I'll enter. Happy Thanksgiving
@Despair
Yeah, no. You review things based on their own merit and compared to other similar things. Especially if a game is so heavily "taking inspiration" from another one.
@TheFaceless
Never review anything. Ever. If you really think that a sequel to a game cannot be compared to it's predecessor well then reviews are something you should never get into it. The predecessor is what you're supposed to compare it to first. If it's somehow worse than the previous iteration, well then you automatically get off several points (score-wise).

he said he even used three different PCs that ran s...
@Dennett
Except having a small open world is going backwards in progression. Developers should be aiming to flesh out large worlds, not small ones.
Actually this article is solely for hits, it's written terribly and gives terrible reasons.
Size? So wait, you want a smaller game world? What the hell? A progressive storyline is suddenly a bad thing? The mini games are now a bad thing?
Someone tell this author to piss off and never play video games again. I don't want people like this ruining what was once my favorite hobby any longer.
Do you honestly think a company like Microsoft has the time or would want to try and pay off a reviewer to negatively review a game like Little Big Planet Karting?
And why do you think it can only be Microsoft anyway? There are other companies in the industry that could attempt that. Activision, Nintendo, Ubisoft, Ea.
But I digress, why would anyone want to try to pay off for a negative review. They'd want to focus on getting their own games good scores....
That's another issue. Most games have no demo, so people need to rely on videos and reviews. And both aren't completely reliable since previews will attempt to only show off the good in convenient compilations, and well..I have this blog post and reviews.
@Merrill
if 5 is unplayable to you, what do you consider a 2 or a 1? Does that suck the life force out of you and kill you? A 5 is a game that is average, it does nothing very well, but its not a terrible game. There are more numbers on the review score table.
@OtherZinc
"Its the ONLINE DISC! If you have a 4gig 360, you're not online anyway! "
What does this mean? People with 4 gigs cannot go online? That doesn't make sense.
If 5.5 is broken, what the hell do you consider a 1 or a 2?
In a traditional sense, a 5.5 is supposed to mean an average game. Nothing stands out but it's not terrible. Also am I in no way defending this review. I'm just saying, there are more numbers in a 10 point review system then 5 through 10.
Killzone 2 was a wonderful game. It had its own unique feeling to it, and that's what made it stand out and become a favorite among many people.
Killzone 3 is where it got "CODified".
IF you look at this from a reviewers perspective, he gave it a 5/10 meaning just about average.
People gotta remember there are 2 halves to the 10 point scale.
I'd give it an 8.5 max. It had a lot of flaws, gameplay and story wise that would detract. And multiplayer additions that are stupid imo.
It's funny, iron sights makes games slower than Halo. You have to stop all movement just to ADS and then aim at your target. Last I checked that's not fast gameplay.
And this is the problem with Halo 4. It's bringing the best of COD and Battlefield. Why is it doing that, when it already had its own unique experience? I played Halo when I wanted to play Halo, not because I want to play COD or Battlefield with aliens and space marines.
Amnesia starts out scary but then loses its touch when you realize what's going on. After that it throws jump scares at you. But it doesn't keep it fresh enough to keep you in that 'horrified' state.
What an inane comment. Having a 600 dollar console again would ruin Sony. It almost killed them with the PS3 and you want another one? That's crazy talk.
I bought a Ps3 day one. 600 dollars for the console was too much.
