@Piroh
How are you comparing the Ps2/gamecube/xbox era to the Ps3/360/wii era??
Sorry about latching onto your top comment Valenka, but Cat, going by disagrees is not a good idea. Many of these questions have phantom disagrees for no reason, ending up with everyone having 3 agrees/4 disagrees or similar numbers.
Yes. There is the fake spot that is gotten to by bypassing the SS Anne by trading a pokemon with cut to your game.
Then there is the real one that requires actually glitching the game.
Also I meant to type out "It still carries on in legend."
Awesome! And thanks Emilio, just one of the muffed up parts of the video games industry I've been starting to dislike.
Okay so first it was youth violence, then it was sex, now it's sexism.
What do you guys think is gonna be the next trend trying to act our vidya games?
In the original Pokemon Red and Blue games, there was said to be a secret spot where the player character may encounter and capture the legendary pokemon Mew. Though this spot ended up being a ruse, it still carries on in . Where is this secret spot located?
A)Behind the Secret Door in Cerulean City
B)Behind Silph Co in Saffron City
C)At the Power Plant
D)Under a truck in Vermillion City
Thanks everyone, congratulations to the other winners also! Do these amazon cards expire?
That's the sad part. Star Wars fans begging for games like KOTOR, Republic Commando or Battlefront 3 and they give us some Uncharted-esque game.
@Shutupandtakemymoney
You don't actually expect the next iteration of Sony and Microsoft consoles to be able to pull off that do you? Sony struggled out of the gate and got boned by their 600 dollar price point costing them millions. Microsoft had the RROD fiasco which costed them millions. Neither company will be putting out a console that would cost that much. It would not be smart financially.
And to get power you need to have something expensive.
"Star Wars 1313"
HA, yeah right. A glorified corridor cover shooter.
The previous two games were mediocre, I'm surprised they're even considering a third.
The game takes place in a 1920s steam-punk-esque America. The Flag isn't what ruins it.
"Entitled gamers"
First of all, stop using that word.
Second, you have multiple things to thank for this new trend. 1) The Internet. Console wars and assholes have always been around believe it or not. The internet has just allowed us to see them first hand and in mass droves, in this case Sony,Microsoft,Nintendo,Apple, Pc, etc fanboys.
2) Anonymity. I shouldn't need to explain this one.
Really, there has always been pr...
Thinking of the wrong type of Circle Jerk Velenka.
The problem is the "modern" take (in reality, it's just a cash out to get people out to terrible raves). The best description I've seen of it is that it's a constant breakdown.
If you're a metal head, I expect you of all people to appreciate music that isn't a breakdown all the time. Unless you're only into grindcore/metalcore/deathcore. Then I wouldn't really call you a metal head.
No. Dubstep is not the metal of dance music. It sounds nowhere near that. Low frequency bass 'wubs', with 138 bmp, perhaps accompanied with something with a little more treble, like the flute sound in the song I linked below.
What you describe is "brostep" something that even artists like Rusko have used to describe their music. So it astounds me that you go on to say that dubstep is like metal but then say skrillex isn't dubstep. It's like you are t...
Exactly. Seems developers aren't capable of unique ideas anymore, so they just slap together something that seems to be a trend. Instead of coming up with their own unique ideas, they're just trying to combine two things which wouldn't work too well together to cash out easily.
@Gespenst
No, Capcom is not cashing out on a trend. It's the head of Ninja Theory, Tameen being a jackass. He has stated many times before he doesn't care about the fans, and he's essentially turned the series into his own "thing". Essentially this guy thinks anything that is British Punk, smokes, and acts like a jerk to everything is the definition of cool. He's the same person that had a character randomly push another off a ledge in Enslaved becau...
Nothing about this looks appealing to me. Every reason to ever get a Wii has been thrown out the window by this iteration. This is not how you do a smaller unit, worse than the newest Ps3 Slim.
Why are video games taking it too far but movies and books aren't?
