Maybe it only matters for the major fanboys who are calling out systems for not having games that don't have 100s all around.
For the general gamer, I can assure you it doesn't matter.
And I can also tell you it doesn't matter for me. Which is why I bought games like Call of Duty 3, Mobile Suit Gundam Crossfire. Because Reviews are only meant to give you an opinion.

Does a system have to have triple A games to be considered a great system?
And does said games all have to be triple A to be good at all?

I don't look for scores either, to me they don't mean much, even though you can usually assume anything that is 7 or higher is pretty decent.
The thing people should be looking for is the review underneath the score. That's what will tell you about all the flaws(if any) and the game play experience.

I play warhawk quite a bit, and I always find a nice full room.
Then again, I do play zones, hero, and capture the flag a lot, which are the most popular game modes.
But I have seen many official servers full. And trust me when I say, the only time you should bother with player servers is if, you are either:
1. Hosting them yourself.
2. You know the person hosting them.
3. The person hosting ...
even need a demo.

This game deserves only 9s or higher.
Yeah a few 8s can slip, but because of the features implemented, 9s and 10s.
They even have fps/tps elements in this game!
