I'm going to tell you, new comers will be able to get into it. My friend is/was a newcomer, the first thing he said was, wow this game looks awesome!

This is the dev's fault.
It's not the ps3's. Otherwise, many other games that work fine today would not be working well at all.
It's either laziness as others have said, or the devs themselves weren't too sure about the coding and stuff that had to do with the ps3.
Now i'm not game developer myself, but it's obvious that once a developer gets used to coding for the ps3, it's easy, or at least easier than before.

Trailer on g4 wasn't Hd. I was more impressed of the one on the internet, no not the gametrailers one.
I did however love their footage of gears, and their Resistance 2 Special.
They made the game seem very appealing, and I'm sure it will draw in more people to the game.
I believe it's meant that, to fully beat each coop campaign level takes 15 to 20 hours.
For instance, in the beta, you are given different scenarios at the beginning, and then must complete that layout and level. There are about 4 scenarios per level I guess?
To get the most of it, you must replay each level 4 times and those 4 times will take about 15-20 hours.

I remember that part! It's right after the grim attack right? Tons of auger fire and bullseye fire, you gotta hide behind the rocks and trees if you're a medic or spec ops. It's great he soldiers have the shield for the wraith, other wise the campaign would be 10 times harder.

That coop campaigns are some of the hardest campaigns I have ever played. The enemy can take a beating, theres 100s of them on screen at once, and it's only you and 7 other people. If you don't have the right people on your side, and good players, you're screwed. Like, too many medics is a no, and only one spec ops is a no.

Never been the biggest rpg fan, but this game has really got me interested. Love the art style they went with.
Plus the game looks really huge, and the battles look fun.
