I've died about 10 times on that single boss fight.
This game is difficult :)
itself is amazing.
Insomniac have improved vastly over the last game.
Scope and detail put into things is huge. All the guns feel real.
I gotta say, the single player campaign is amazing. I've been addicted to it for a couple days, and yes the AI is brutal.
Some of the hardest AI i've ever played against, constantly rushing/flushing you out from behind cover. Makes you rethink all your tactics.
Gotta admit, I never even thought about these games before these articles, but yeah, I gotta agree, a lot of them look really good.

I say that, because, you seem to be a smart parent, teaching your children right from wrong, fiction from reality.
Most of the time, I always hear parents blaming games, and people blaming games for violence occurring today.

Yes Gears does win best graphics, but best single player? Best multiplayer? Best Weapons!?!?
Biased all over it, then again I've noticed gamedaily to be slanted towards the 360.
Again, yes some points were true, Best audio and graphics do go to gears, but can you compare the multiplayer aspects at all?

I used to basically only play halo games a couple years ago, when Halo 3 came out, it was a first day play for me.
Halo 3 does require skill yes, but it also requires a shoot half a clip then melee attack combo.
The battle rifle takes about one full clip to kill without aiming to the head, half a clip to kill with aiming to the head.

There are many good games coming out, Res2, Naruto:UNS and others, that I probably don't know about.
And for multi console owners, you have gears and fable 2 to look forward to.
Most logical thing now to do is just, wait till it comes out, don't expect it to come out on any day, otherwise you'll just be let down if it doesn't.

I only have a ps3..well other older systems too, but only a ps3. My friends play all the ps3 exclusives here, and I go over their houses to play the 360 exclusives.
And it's all good.
I agree, it will be refreshing to have an excellent world war II themed shooter, or at least, anything other than futuristic is good right now.
But I must say, yes, Infinity Ward did eff up. Not just with the reasons what you said, but their poor online system. And poor balance of almost everything.
