Black Friday and Cyber Monday are the only times throughout the year that people don't need an excuse to have a sale and still you have to go in that direction. Why would they hold out the entire first movie to tell us something? Because its something important, that will be revealed in the next MOVIE....not the next game. Cannon or not, this game wont have any ties to the movie apart from having a star wars theme to it.

Not really, by the time it catches up to the PS4, the PS5 will probably be well underway. I dont think a small miracle can help them take the lead. I think it will sell well and perform very well. That wont change the fact that this gen is well underway, and most people already have a gaming console. The PRO came out a full year ago and is $100 cheaper. I wouldn't want to give up my PS4 profile with all my friends at this point for something a little higher res when I'm already dug in...
I would start announcing them later as well. Something comes out, looks amazing and everyone wants it now. Devs sometimes release dates too early and end up with delays. What we don't know about, we can't anticipate. I agree that anticipation is a good thing but too much can kill me, uh I mean can be a bad thing.
