I don't really care if they are "behind" (i'm not a shareholder so why the hell would I care), they've still sold at a faster rate and at a higher price than the xbox. I'd rather them wait and release after with more powerful tech than first.

Honestly not too many exclusives push console sales, Sony has GT, MS has Halo, and NiN has Mario and Zelda. I think MGS4 also moved a lot of Ps3's when it launched but the franchise is no longer exclusive. Really? Because for the last 20 years I've been playing the same franchises on my NiN systems with little to no advancements in gameplay. Not saying I enjoy the huge amount of shooters released because I don't but the best game released on the Wii was only really been published by NiN (Last Story) and I don't see them even releasing it here (USA).

Ha I remember in Uc2 I sat there for about 10 minutes just walking around in the snow looking at my foot prints. Gotta love ND's attention to detail, it's the little things that count.

I think they mean they maxed out their tech on the consoles, I'm sure if they started over they could make it even better but that takes time and money. I think that's how it is anyways, I'm sure if GG or ND started over from scratch they could make engines that are even better than what they have now just because they'd know exactly what to do and wouldn't just be adjusting code/etc in their current engines.
The best thing....Hundred of hours of gameplay. I just bought Fallout 3, had it for less than 6 days and I already have over 24 hours into it and barely done any of the main quest. Gotta love Bethesda they really give you your moneys worth.

The only real differences I could see is it maybe having a higher frame-rate and maybe a native 1080p output...and prolly some AA.
From what I've read this one isn't nearly as bad as others I've played, pretty much if you pay you just get more inventory slots/characters/voice chat/and a few other things. Kinda actually more of a rip off if you pay the monthly sub, I plan on just spending the $5 I have on my account to get "Legendary" membership which doesn't go away and you get more of those things just not as many as people who pay the monthly sub. Well to answer your question about why devs announce DLC around release I THINK is because they want you to hold on to your copy.

Don't know why people would complain about this, not like they made it and are just holding off. From what my friends have told me AC has a pretty long campaign as it is. It's more content and as long as it's not overpriced it should be a win.
