Well Ascensions multiplayer was TONS of fun if you got into it ...I don't see the problem. It was very well executed and I hope the next GoW also has MP (but of course with a better singleplayer this time) ...I agree that it's SP first with these games but I would appreciate a good online mode if done right.
There's still more than enough time to hype the sh*t out of this. Real marketing didn't even start yet because they are probably still tweaking and tuning the game and it's visuals, you can do wonders in the weeks before release on a new platform when all the systems are up and running. Once that has been finished we'll probably get loads of new gameplay material ...but I'm nonetheless doubting an online mode. Not in such an early stage of the PS4 & also because it wou...
It was great but it didn't have the impact I hoped for. I would rather prefer a competitive online mode if done right, this game has HUGE potential in that department.
It's funny because about 2 weeks ago I imagined just that. Online versus mode against other conduits could be awesome x10. Leveling up, unlocking new powers, customizing your hero/villain could eat my life. I really hope this is true but I somehow really can't believe it. Maybe in the next InFamous.
I won't believe that Sucker Punch actually managed to put online multiplayer into this game without seeing it. But well, we still don't know about 90% of the game 2 months before release ...so I guess anything is possible.
THIS. WOULD. BE. HUGE.
Also, it won't drop in price anyway so might as well just buy it day1 and enjoy it rather than waiting a year for all the great games.
It's a longterm investment :)
The games out now aren't exactly my cup of tea but I enjoyed most of them. I just can't wait for all the greatness Sony's first party will bury me with. InFamous (and maybe Driveclub) will be just the beginning.
This shouldn't even be on the table ...PS4 is a gaming console and Xbox is a multimedia console. The way it is now is the way it should be. DDR3 vs. GDDR5 should be enough explanation.
I don't hate the Xbox, I hate Microsoft. Their business methods are far from what I call "acceptable". It's sad to see that for Microsoft only money talks in an industry that's built on creativity.
^We can talk once PC gets exclusives in the league of The Last of Us, God Of War or Journey.
@nerdeu: lol mine was similar, this is just hilarious. Microsoft must be joking charging 500 bucks for that thing.
And I didn't like Vanquidsh at all ;)
Too fast, too stressful. Binary Domain had a good story and nice RPG elements. I didn't finish Vanquish but played completely through Binary Domain.
Metro Last Light, BioShock Infinite & Dynasty Warriors Next? Wow!
Outlast in 2 weeks is also awesome news =)
Not the best but very good, one of the gems of last generation if you ask me. Thanks to PS+ I think it got the exposure it deserved and I would probably buy an improved sequel this time.
“I already talked about how much the Xbox One sucks shit, but for three dollars I’ll say anything Microsoft wants me to."
I would too.
Another developer porting PS3 games to PS4? As a former PS3 owner I don't know what to think of this ...I would rather have them work on new projects even if it means that we won't get as much regular releases. But on the other hand, this helps them get familiar with the hardware and we get more games for our new console so at this point I guess it's okay ...but please don't give us last-gen ports after 2015.
There are lots of games that could be meant here.
TLOU, Beyond, Puppeteer, Journey and Ratchet&Clank are just some of the possibilities. I would like to see the F2P LBP Hub on PS4 (also because their LBP on Vita was a great game) but that's just me.
I hope it's Journey but I guess it's Puppeteer or R&C.
^The only thing M$ brought to our industry is timed exclusive deals. With money that could be spend on game development. This company is cancer to creativity in every way and I hope their execs choke on the money from their Forza microtransactions.
You would rather have a platinum trophy than a great online mode?
